@@joshentertainment2 that's not what fast fashion is, fast fashion is a business model of mass-producing clothing at a low cost, and bringing them to retail stores quickly while demand is at its highest. The turnover rate for clothing is extremely high, clothing used to be made seasonal (high fashion still only have two seasons winter/fall and summer/spring) but today fast fashion brands such as Shein or H&M have micro-seasons so we can see new collections coming in weekly or even daily with Shein (so instead of 4/2 seasons its normally 52 for fast fashion or 365 seasons for Shein and similar). Since the turnover rate is so high, corners have to be cut at some point and it is usually at the labourers expense. Cheap toxic dyes can also be used that seep into the water supplies of where the clothing is made, e.g., chrome for leather. This makes clothing less biodegradable and instead sits in landfills and ruins peoples health and our planet. So, buy smarter and less.
