The Life Saving Museum is really cool! I got my inspiration from there years ago to start my own collection. They have a display in there called Sands of the World. Since I love the beach, I decided to start my own collection, so I have collected sand from our travels, and have had friends and family bring me back sand from their travels. I have 75 different sands from Ocean City to The Dead Sea, Isreal, and everywhere in between. I even have sand from Jerusalem.

The Wedge is pretty awesome. My wife ate there in September. Good Food and Good Vibes plus a great view of the Inlet.

Nice up date Jay. Back in the early 70's a pizza chain called pappy's had a 20's theme then it became Wolfes then Lombardi's. They never changed the inside after all these years . The Wedge is ok. Nothing to write home about.

I haven’t done the Wedge yet, but my BFF loved it when they popped down in October

I was down last year during the week of Thanksgiving n went to the Festival of Lights/Winterfest I actually preferred to walk through the lights over going on the tramcar. I will be down in 3 days.

The views at The Wedge are beautiful. We had conch fritters i believe. Those were good but the place is a little expensive. Harrison's owns it, by the way. Also Papi's is pretty solid.

Pappi’s is very good, we ate there and they have another near us in Towson!

The wedge has some great food.

Glad to see something finally opened up there at the inlet in one of hose buildings. When I left they were still building it and nothing as open yet. They took too long to build that. I remember when they started. I was sad when they closed the 2 movie shops there at the inlet.

Boardwalk walks in the winter are our favorite!! It's so peaceful in the winter.

Tailchasers has pretty good food and a nice happy hour menu. Highly recommended

@@ReelJayB My first wife had family that were from DC, and moved several times until they settled in North Beach. Her uncle knew Peter for many years. My first wife was a member of the Caputo family of Landover. Her uncle was Angelino Caputo. He had several businesses in DC and PG county. As a family we would go to the Italian Inn at least once a month. Personally I thought his marinara was too sweet compared to my grandfather's and he was a Mancini and his family came over in 1908, and worked the coal mines of Thomas, Davis and Tridelphia West Virginia. But in the end, it is a small world down here. Moved down from Anne Arundel County 11 (12 in March) years ago. Love it here. We live in Pittsville

Bayside Skillet and Bull on the Beach are some my top places. STILL WAITING for that Sub review from Anthonys Liquers lol guess that has to wait till spring now

Believe it or not, PGN has awesome fried chicken. I don't normally eat that extra stuff that comes with the AUCE blue crabs, but I make sure to eat their chicken! Random thought while you were talking about favorite restaurants 😂

Yup! They've been there for a while now. I think this was year 2.

The food prices in OC are crazy ... that is why I either buy my own food at the food store or eat in Denny's. I'm not buying too many $25 pizzas.. or $12 drinks. I have a second place in OC and make a decent salary.. but can barely afford to eat, house payments, car payments ,cable bills etc .. I don't know how the average person , making the average salary of $60k per year before taxes can afford to eat out .

Food prices in OC never used to be crazy high because they were always in competition with eachother, same for drinks (notice all the happy hour signs?). There are of course more touristy places where you may pay a little more than others. $60K in 2023 isn't nearly the same as $60K in 2007. Everything has gone up in prices the last few years. Even tax rates on hotel rooms. Pizza that used to be $13 is now over $20. Hopefully it will go back to normal soon.

Cafe Mirage is the best!

Now that the nephew is grown there is no longer a need to go to Sunsations 😂 but have you ever been to Holly’s Treasure Chest in Fenwick? I know not OCMD, but that’s our “Sunsations” now. That place is packed with stuff. They are probably closed now though. The owners live in Florida in the winter.

Unfortunately The Hobbit is closed for the season they will reopen in march/April. My favorite dish has to be the filet topped with crab imperial. Everything on the menu is great but the prices reflect it lol.

We used to go to the K-Mart and a hair salon (I can’t remember the name) at a strip mall in Lanham.

Ive heard great things about ripeanos and shottis for pizza too OC street foods is a hidden gem!! Give that a try if you like kabobs or middle eastern stype food

Every update video I do is verified by owners, friends of the owners, local realtors or people I know. I don't go off "who told me", I check and double check before making any video. Her grandmother would take her shopping there. I remember when the last few stores were there too. Wasn't it a Sears or JC Penny?

My heart is still in PG. Lol but it’s sad seeing some of the changes. Yes I know Landover Mall! I have SO much to tell but I won’t bore you! I remember my grandma taking me to WoolWorths before they shut down. We also went to Hot Shoppes. They had the best roast beef! My grandpa would eat at the Roy Rogers lol
