I didn't think I'd ever find a cover of Dick Gaughan's Now Weslin Winds that would hit me in the heart like his (and Robert Burns) original did.

Lovely! A perfectly balanced band singing a great song

I saw this live 5 years ago, it moved me so deeply that it changed me. Powerful stuff. Watching it now years later brings back the moment, goosebumps!

So beautiful. This breaks me up - listening to it gives me a true grasp of my late dads love for his native rural South Ayrshire - and the wonderful poetry of Robert Burns❤

Rioghnach has a beautiful huskiness to her voice. And the instrumentalists, guitarists, bassist, violinist, all complement each other so well. Each finding spaces to express themselves.

Beautiful. Can't stop playing it. The poetry of Bobby Burns is pure magic.

To be honest this is a wonderfully executed Dick Gaughan arrangement of this song. Despite what the credits says above "Arrangement by Ríoghnach Connolly & Ellis Davies" this is exactly Dick's arrangement right down to his exact guitar lines. That takes nothing away from Ríoghnach Connolly's stunning singing.
