I remembered when the commercials of Novi Stars. I was 12 at the time and after home from surgery. Like you, I never had one nor collected one but I love their designs (especially their art designs). My favorite Novi Stars are Nita Light, Tula Toned, Malie Tasker, and Mimi Merize. I feel so bummed they only lasted for two years. I’m very determined on getting one (even though they’re very expensive now on eBay). My birthday is coming up in two months so maybe..?

The spectra dolls are so 80s looking! Like an encapsulation of the pop scene's zeitgeist.

I remember novi stars from when they came out in 2012. I got the four first main ones for christmas that year and later on we also got cila clops, malie tasker, and tula toned. I also got the playset with nita light. I still have all of my novi stars and pets (including mystery pets) to this day.

I love this video! You go so deep into everything, lore, their designs, unreleased stuff! Idk how this doesn't have more views, it's a great video, I hope to see more similar!

Novi stars were an integral part of my childhood. I destroyed them bc I was a stupid child and I don't think I'll ever forgive myself
