The Tree Trust Young Adult Conservation Corps (YACC) hires young adults to help improve the environment and the community by maintaining green spaces and making other environmental improvements. This work also helps these young people build transferable job skills to help them reach their future goals. In the winter, we contract with various entities to do snow clearing on vacant and foreclosed properties. One of these entities is Minneapolis CPED. On November 17, after clearing 148 properties in one day all of the YACC crews came together at the end of the day to clear this one last property. Great work team!
