@@jasondavis3816 Hello Mr. Davis. Scripture says in I Thessalonians, " Prove all things". Psalms 119: 104, " I hate every false way". John 12:43, " They seek the praises of men". Job 32:22, " for I know not to give flattering titles..." Matthew 20:26, " If any man will be great...let him be your servant". I John 4:6, " there is a spirit of truth and a spirit of error. The spiritual gifts of God do not come with worldly titles. I Corinthians 12: 28, and he set first in the church: Apostles, Prophet's, Teachers... In John 17th chapter Jesus assured his disciples that the Father would send the Comforter who would guide ( lead, teach, instruct, keep ) them into all truth. No PhD nor any man made titles . One Apostle was a physician. That is a vocation.

Man seeks praises of men with titles not supported by scripture. Christ declared believers deny themselves. Christ entire walk on Earth was " humility" not exaltation.

@@soundjudgement3586 I do agree with you Sir, however, I have a question: Have you met this Pastor? The reason why I am asking is because just because he has a title doesn't mean that he isn't just as down to earth as any other man with those titles. These titles were given to him as a result of his education and his devotion to his craft. That's not proving to me that he is "stuck up" or arrogant as a result of studying, perfecting his craft and calling and becoming more educated. He was awarded these titles as a result of everything I previously mentioned, but a lot of times that doesn't change who he is. He may just be the most humble man you've ever met. Have you at least given him a chance to show you that? Probably not. I'm not here to argue or debate that, but I will say this; I am an ordained minister and I am on my way to attaining my Master's and then going on to my Doctoral Degree as well, but EVERYONE who knows me will still be able to call, text, refer to me as JASON.. Because a Degree or two or three will not change me as a person. It changes my level of knowledge. Jesus Christ Himself bestowed titles on his disciples.. He's not here to do that anymore, so when this Pastor furthers his education and attains titles because of it, you mean to tell me that his titles are on trial? What about the message that God has given him?

Reverence is what we do to God, reverend is different than reverence. Just like Paul was called an Apostle. Reverence means deep respect for something or someone

Good Word, Good Word! I would have preferred a more nuanced portrayal of the Obama Administration given the level of poverty, war, prosecution of whistle-blowers and surveillance of the American Public. However, Good Word! Good Word!

How did you side step and preach politics, you were doing so good with the Gospel. Sir, it seems you have stirred more hate instead of love. The world will be as it will always be, but the Kingdom of God is different. Stay with the Gospel not politics.

He's a false teacher. People need to be warned that he doesn't even affirm that Christ is the only way to salvation. We've settled too long for what sounds good and deep versus what is true. I understand that I will probably be attacked because of this post but at the end of the day, someone needs to be willing to blow the whistle. Hopefully eyes will be opened.
