I am really tempted in buying this synth, it sounds amazing spacey. It breathes a lot... wow.

In the right hands this synth can do literally any sounds. I love it, also have the dm12 which is also a good instrument for its price but Summit is in a different dimension. Nice video!

The Summit is an OB8, P5 and Jupiter 8 in 1 synth and even better. (owned all of these previously somewhere in the 80's)

Remember, Novation offers a 25% discount with their trade in program. Everything qualifies, even the Launchpad that the airlines broke for me.

Dude.. Great sounding synth. Ive owned an awful lot of synths in the past, Juno 6,106, Jupiter8, Prophet T8, Ensoniq mirage JV5080, MoDx7, JV1000, plus lots I cant remember. but the synth that I regret selling was a Supernova rack.. It really was the mutts nuts. About to sell my MoDX7 as I don't really get along with it and did look at the Summit but the Prophet X is beckoning me. Had that not been the case, your demo really underpins why so many synth purists have the Sumit. THanks for sharing brother. 😀

Love my Summit. It's somewhere in-between a Juno and a Jupiter, and it has BALLS. I've been tempted to hang a pair of truck nuts from the back.

The summit is bitimbral, there are single patches and multipatches which then consist of two sounds, either split or as a layer..😊

Yes and no… some of them I made by myself, some are factory presets and some are from sounddesigners you find in the net. I am working on a soundset, but it will take a while longer… it should be the best! 😎😀👋

It is when you don't know the principals and it's not when you know what to do and how it works. REGARDLESS of synth model and type.

Ive been designing sounds on many synths both analogs and Digitals since the 80's and 90s. I must admit its not that easy on my Summit, the mad thing is I'm not even sure why lol as to be fair it's got an absolute plethora of options regarding modulation. Its an amazing synth and extremely flexible, absolutely no doubt about that, just takes me a lot longer to create patches that i actually like. Many many times ive spent hour's on it and come away with nothing, which is not like me at all. @@nikodimson

@@maydaygoingdown5602 maybe there's an option to download third party patches and load them to synth?

  • @maydaygoingdown5602

@nikodimson Yes there's the Novation software that let's you do exactly that. Very easy to do infact. Easy to upload your own patches to the software also which is nice, makes a nice change because its not so easy to do on most of the synths in the studio.

@@maydaygoingdown5602 I don't know exactly, some of the patches are from another sound designer... I prefer Sounds of @alphacodesynth or @lukeneptune3820 and some of them I built on my own... 😀
