True. But he’d played a long, hard 5 setter against Zverev in the previous match, Medvedev had had an extra day off, not to forget the weight of history on his shoulders. The crowd were great though, especially at the end, so much so that they brought tears to his eyes: the man of steel has a huge ♥️. Absolutely adore the man.

Remember that. But i mean tears man, from the mentally focused Novak. It was mutual i think from losing and support. He battle hard, but Medvedev needed to win the slam that year, played absolutely good. Also nver understood that need to be loved and cheered by crowd, play a villain role, why not? However he find himself among US crowd which he absolutely enjoyed. But in future , i think love belongs to Alcaraz, man plays so emotional and strong that will be imposible not to prioritize him over anyone in top ranks.

It had nothing to do with the crowd. He played 5h against zverev days before at 34 yo. Alongside that he went to the olympics and had already an exaustive calendar. He was tired. As so he did had the support from the crowd this USopen and won, because he was rested

You really think that if they WANTED to destroy Djokovic they wouldn't have done it already? Best example - they deport him from his STRONGEST slam with a ban to visit AU again for 3 following years which more or less means no more titles for him there. And instead of sticking with the ban, the EVIL WESTERN AU government not only makes an exception for him and revokes the ban the next year, it also warns the spectators that boing Djokovic will result in them being removed from the event. So no... there isn't a conspiracy against him based on the fact that he is from Serbia. There are other players that are getting disqualified , there are other players that crowds and media don't like (Nick for instance, who is Australian) etc. @@cd0u50c9 I know that every hero deserves a villain , but in Djokovic case there is no conspiracy, sorry.

I would say, the reason Nole didn't subsided and reduced his level of tennis, is Carlos himself... He is know still motivated and still wants to win more titles, without Alcaraz he wouldn't get that much titles at 2023, no reason no motivation no challenge so no Nole at highest Level we like that much
