Nova Scotia is absolutely beautiful, people are very friendly and welcoming to visitors, they are mostly of Scottish, English and Irish ancestry, so you will hear a lot of Scottish and Irish folk music, and see Scottish and Irish dance and art which is really amazing. Go whale watching on Brier Island, Go kayaking around the McNabs island, Take a ferry to Dartmouth from Halifax, Don't forget to go to the Lower deck bar downtown Halifax on a Sunday evening!

This province is the worst in Canada . Strange people they do not welcome new people For some reason, even if you are Canadian from another province, something strange in nova Scotia :( I believe all Scotland's criminals live over there . The roads are broken. .No a single person drives with a caution ** Animals Crosses the street outside cities, bears everywhere, if your car breaks down, you will die If you get sick, they can not take you because NO doctors available :( the overgrow trees prevent the citizen from walking around and see new Places . Do not go to nova Scotia and do not go with fishing people Unless you want to be number 701, search for crabs.

As a Nova Scotian... I would love to do all these things! I've been out mackerel fishing with my dad we caught over 100 of them! So easy to catch! Peggy's Cove is pretty no matter when you go! Just be careful not to fall in the water or get hit by a wave and die! Seriously! People die there every year! It's always sad to hear when this happens. Read the signs and stay far from the water.

We live in Cape Breton and wish to remind you of Marconi's powerful Wireless Station that was located at Table Head, a neighborhood of Glace Bay. In the early years of the 20th Century this station connected Europe and North America. This week we are on our way to visit friends in Western Shore on Nova Scotia's beautiful South Shore. When visiting Western Shore drop by Mo's Grill for some delicious eats. The Town of Lunenburg gets all the publicity but like in Cape Breton the South Shore has so very much more to offer. Try to see as much as you can. :)

Thank you very much! Good luck with your move. But be prepared, winter's here in Canada can be harsh, (That's why we all travel so much :D ) but we do love living here (we're in Ontario about a 3 hour flight from Nova Scotia).

i'm from nova scotia myself back in the day,and i got to tell you there's only 2 ways out of that whole place and it is the highway and airport.warning better like long walks, nothing to do most times, and traveling in the place is a little costly for cheap hotels, motels and camper homes it cost so bring lots of plastic and cash.

Not gonna lie, the video was beautiful... but was pretty disappointed that the Yarmouth lighthouse was shown, but nothing was said about it. Even though the film the Lighthouse was actually shot there recently! Just wondering if there wasn't enough of anything in Yarmouth to deserve a mention or what. I know it must be hard to visit so many places and then have to pick what to talk about. Just curious what Yarmouth could do to stand out more.

Yarmouth is the worst place in Nova Scotia by far, such a shithole. 6000 people living there and two shootings in the past 2 months, fentanyl overdoses left and right, someone found dead floating in a river and house fires caused by idiots that were trying to cover up murders. My cousin died there. I lived there for 7 years and my years in elementary I got jumped walking home.

Beautiful Also "Nova Scotia" translates to "New Ireland". "Scotland" also translates to "Land of the Irish". Thid is because scotland was founded by an Irish kingdom and over hundreds of years Scotland became a completely separate nation, so when this part of Canada was named after Scotland by King James, he unknowingly named it after Ireland too.
