With Red Bull not covering the XC, UCI now , GMBN is now my go to Channel. Great coverage and commentary.😁

congrats to UCI for adding this new race distance/format to the mix. I love it. I prefer it to things like the ‘short-track’ racing. That said, this new marathon format might not be the best for live, in-person spectating…

Back in 2008, the Bejing Olympics ushered in the sort of buffed out, stadium friendly XC courses that purists despised, but which took over completely. For anyone who misses 'old school' courses- or never got to see them- this is what a WC XC course looked like in the old days!😀

Who live broadcasts the marathon race?
XCM is what XC is all about which is endurance MTB riding! Exactly like road riding with distances in the hundreds of KMs but across contry.... No GBR athletes and no live coverage. Poor show. Hope to see improved coverage of future races. Itll be good to see what equipment is used and the bike specs. GMBN please add more detail/content for XCM we have so many good events in the UK to cover - Torq 12hr - Cotswolds 200miler + so much more...👍 UCI - Please have 20km loops ( maybe alternating different loops) for spectators, TV and Organiser benefits. 👌
