The last song - feel like going home - sends shivers up my spine. Awesome. So emotional, so beautiful. Brilliant stuff.
I was lucky enough to be in the audience for this show. After they did the taping for the TV show, Mark Knopfler says, "now let's really get started." They played for another couple of hours...

I was there with my wife and two sons ( 9 and 11). Fantastic evening. MK is my fave musician of all.
MK just has such a subtle and expressive way of playing. Seems a simple guitar lick at 19:25 , but it is just played so tastefully, and in perfect response to the call from the keyboard player. What a musician, truly can't say enough about the quality of his music. From early dire straits to his solo albums now, he never falls short of superb.
Bewildered... brilliant. Just wonderful.
paul franklin absolutely crushing that pedal steel.
If Mark Knopfler and Paul Franklin playing together was the only thing I could listen to from here on in I would be more than happy!

Theres just something superb about this man his refined gift and his band of Notting Hillbillies
Just great, I saw this tour in Brighton, it was good to see Mark relaxing and having fun. I think he really enjoyed not always being the lead singer and those guys were good. I wish Dire Straits had recorded Love You Too Much. I wrote a song that was more than a little inspired by it!
Mark knopfler 39.20 to 44.46 alone showing why he was the best guitarist in the 70's 80's 90's, absolute genius 😯😯😯😯😯😯😯😯👌🏻then feel like going home solo is just 😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳 👴🏼 🎸 🥇 👏🏻 👏🏻

Jason, it is well understood that Mark Knopfler is the best by genius and a magician. At the risk of showing my ignorance could I please ask you what the numbers next to his name are for or what they are, I’ve just got to know!! ( not NOSEY but definitely curious )

Typo above….MK was and is the best ever guitarist, vocalist and songwriter, in my opinion, and a real magician and GENIUS AT EVERYTHING HE DOES, As Well as being a gentle soul without an ounce of EGO IN ALL THESE MANY YEARS OF BEING SO TALENTED AND BEING SO WELL KNOWN . He’s a humble man……⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

In "Railroad Worksong" I hear guitar notes played by Mark in "Lights of Taormina" on the Tracker album. Very fine!
Saw them on this tour at Birmingham town hall. Absolutely fantastic night of roots music. If only they’d done a live album from this tour.
Love Water of Love. Great Harmonies. Nice
From now on 24:24 best moment ❤

Jason Corbett was a part of Dire Straits live set on the On Every Street tour, he played it with Clapton at the Knebworth charity gig later in 1990.... Also covered by Jeff Healey, the blind Canadian guitarist....

Yes I bought the Knebworth album after I heard it coz I wanted that song I've followed dire straits since 1985 and saw them twice then knopfler a further 11 times my phones just bombarded with his music, whatever I could get my hands on I downloaded it, there's a studio version of this song to but not as good as Knebworth

Sound quality understandably not the best but loved the sleepy version of water of love. As he usually does with MK, Paul Franklin adds lovely and eerie pedal steel lines that make the song better than the original.
