We had a kid in our district that threw 95mph in high school. I remember everyone talking about how he was going to shut us out. He threw flat and down the middle. Once we all got an at bat in we roped his ass. Beat them 12-2 scored 12 runs in the first 3 innings on him and they put in a kid who threw 70 with junk and he K’d us the rest of the jught

I’m surprised he would say that so early in the game and then was surprised when got tossed. Refs are bad yes but you can only control your attitude and how you handle the rest of the game. ego/ arrogance? the kid has passion and is clearly competitive one day all this will pass and he will be talking to his kids/grandchildren about his playing days and most people reminisce back in there playing days and think man I wish I would have done this or done that.. the kid is on a great baseball team and seems to be taken advantage of it his energy passion and competitive attitude is great for the sport it's good to see people still have that fire in them to play and win idk that's just me though..interviews after the game He credits the teams that they play.last game Gilbert said Georgia tech came out and punched us in the mouth and gave us more than we can handle..they are a great team he says that all the time in as after game interviews he shows love to the other team so he's just a kid showing passion for the game and competitive and competition is almost in every ones blood especially when your on the field playing and not on the couch or stands watching it I mean I get crazy loud at home on the couch over the games so on the field of definitely be insane 😂 Idk I could be wrong just my opinion and we all as humans got a opinion on something but not everyone's opinion is correct however we are all correct with our opinions to ourselves and in our own minds and thoughts is when our opinions are correct 🤣

You can tell alot about a program by how they conduct themselves on the field. Umpires/Officials shouldn't have to put up with that garbage, I guarantee that they received multiple warnings. The players actions in the AB, where he was kicked out, mimics the Coaches behavior.

The coach of Tennessee has an ego and arrogance issue and that's saying it lightly. I enjoy watching any college team play as for Tennessee they are extremely talented and no disputing that. However, a coach can destroy the image of a team from a spectator standpoint. They need to throw the coach out every time he opens his mouth because I have yet to see him to speak to the officials with any amount of respect.

No. It is par for the course for us Ole Miss fans. This year is different. We were awful all year and was the last team in the tourney. So we’ve already surpassed any expectations. USM might whip us this weekend but who said we belong anyways. UT about to go on a tear. Poor ND had to deal with State last year and they won the title. Might be the same thing this year. But they have a really good coach.

Interestingly though the winner of this years college World Series had over twice as many losses as Tennessee. 9 vs 23. But as we all know and I’m sure you would agree, Ole miss that lost twice as many games was the without a doubt the best team in college baseball this year. It was obvious throughout the season.

I've focused on the catcher who consistently throws high right on a steal attempt to second. The other day, after 5-6 games they finally get one. This game, throw it high right into the outfield. I've seen pitching and fielding issues but their bats saved them.

I was honestly a fan of Tennessee for a while until this game. Watching their fans boo strikes right down the middle and clear outs, while throwing trash on the field made me lose all respect for their team and fan base. It’s interesting how quickly a seemingly fun-loving and respectful team and fan base can turn incredibly nasty as soon as they get down in a situation they expect to win. Hopefully Notre Dame can pull this one off. I’m all for the bat flips and high energy, but the way Tennessee as a whole, especially the fans behaved this game, rubbed me the wrong way.

They played from behind the entire game vs Campbell and GTech. I think they know how adversity works. Still interested to see how they respond to this though with their season on the line

Doesnt matter you arent and can not turn around curse at the umpire in the middle of the at bat and show him up. Ump is completely justified for tossing him. You want to argue balls and strikes and say something that's fine but the moment you turn around in front of everyone and curse at the umpire saying "that's fcking terrible...that's fcking horrible" you are gone. Then dumb ass then acts surprised as to why he got tossed lmfaoooo. The minute you make a scene and show up the umpire you are done. I think Gilbert is a great ball player but he is a cocky arrogant mf. Thats fine when you can back it up like he does but you better keep that same energy through wins and losses. He is a sore looser and throws a tantrum just like he did when things don't go his way. I truly think his attitude is going to give him problems down the line when he gets drafted. Wish the guy the best though.
