Nothing Phone 2a vs Pixel 8 Pro Speed Test - Nothing Phone 2a was just unveiled and we have a speed test comparison against the Pixel 8 Pro to test its performance and show you how it performs in multiple different areas. Nothing Phone 2a comes rocking a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 pro 8 core 4nm CPU with 8/12GB of RAM and comes with an 8GB of RAM booster along with a hyper-engine 5.0 to smooth out gaming frame rates. The Pixel 8 Pro comes rocking Tensor G3 CPU and is coupled with 12GB of RAM and Android 14. Nothing Phone 2a as of the recording of this video has Android 14 and Nothing OS 2.5.3. What I've learned from your video is 1.Benchmark scores are not everything.. 2. Budget phones are good nowadays in day to day life except a flagship camera or higher resolution and fps options for video recording.

I want the 2A for my collection something fierce 😁! My Geekbench 6 scores and my 3Dmark scores for the Pixel 8 are significantly higher than your 8 Pro scores. I wonder what causes the variance? Maybe Google is really loose with what yields they'll accept for Samsung's silicon?

Why do I feel like every phones can totally satisfy each people based on preference and that at this age of technology, it’s a matter of AESTHETIC and UPDATE SUPPORT now.
The decision to work with the Mediatek chipset to optimise it is a genius move I think that no one else does outside of Google and Apple.

Quite surprised on the fact that nothing wins on the loading the game department having an older generation type storage medium. Although there are some fixes in the camera department in nothing after the latest update there is still some issues in the video department.

phone 2a refresh rate at " Dynamic " by default. You can change it to " High " , the phone will be snappier when scrolling.
Pixel hardware needs some serious work... Software wise its impressive though...But the SOC & weak modem with the heating issue is such a bummer
2a is awsome. I use it for about a week now and really nice❤

Nothing claimed that their phone should score above 700k in antutu but it's not even touching 700k....still it's smooth and even destroyed pixel 8pro at performance 🔥 Going to buy one...love nothing's clean and optimised ui&os

Poor battery back up, heating issues & weak 5G reception are found in 7a, exynos sucks Hangsung mid ranges.. better go with NP2a !
