You always find a way to convey the message of Christ through these songs when you sing. It's like telling a story that builds and grabs our full attention. Praise to Jesus for blessing you with this gift and outlet to worship Him.

I went through the darkest valley of my life back in the fall of 2010. It was my " Job" experience, tho he had it much worse. I lost my mobility, my hair, my healthy skin, and the ability to be around my family in a period of 2-3 months. By January of 2011 I couldn't sleep at all due to all the prescriptions I had been on since the previous fall. They had taken a toll on my body and left me with restless leg syndrome, a mystery pox ( no doctor could explain or diagnose) and a ringings in my ears. I literally went over a month and a half with as little as MAYBE 20-30 minutes of sleep ( in 2-5 minute intervals ). Needless to say, I was beyond miserable. One Early morning I just cried out to God and said the words in this song " I just want You~ nothing else! Just Your presence." I begged Him to just take me home! To Him. Then I heard Him whisper in the most loving voice ~ " remember Moses? How did he win the victory over his enemies through Me?" I thought 🤔, through praise!! Through raising his hands in praise lifted up to You! I just started praising Him and picturing myself knelt before His throne . I repeated over and over " Holy Holy HOLY are You Lord God Almighty! Who was and IS and is to COME! You give and take away! Blessed be Your Name Forever!" After several hours of this, I fell asleep for 20 -30 minutes straight!!! When I awakened, I praised Him MORE!!! It was such a refreshing to receive that sleep!! The tears flowed as I realized the God of EVERYTHING heard my praise to Him! He was right there listening to every word ~ AND He cared! From that moment on, I continued to heal and He had me change things in my life. . .He made me aware just how much my body IS HIS Holy temple and that I need to take control or rather give Him complete control of what I allow to go into His Holy temple! Essential oils replaced most of the prescriptions ( not all ) and the food I ate changed drastically. Thanks for this song sister! It's literally my life's prayer! 🙏🙏🙏 ❤️💃

And giving Him control of what goes into His Holy temple. Thank you sweet soul for writing this beautiful story about God's goodness. May He continue to heal you!

Lord I want to thank you for the change you've made in me, It's an obvious change that everyone can see. In truth everyone else doesn't matter at all, You are the only One that always answers my call. Every thought, every prayer is heard by you, I'm thankful that I'm willing to do what you want me to do. I've gone through a lot and there's much pain in my story, There's also blessing after blessing so to You be the glory. I've overcome so many things in my 39 years, The one thing that is constant is you have bottled my tears. You know every hair on my head and yes it's getting thin, But no matter how thin it gets with you I will win! Thank you Lord for letting me live through what I shouldn't, I know that without You I most definitely wouldn't.

Reading this while listening to that song just broke me. I so feel like this, and I'm in a lot of pain right now too, but I know I'll overcome 'cuz He's with me.

I saw this on my recommendation for second I hesitate to press on it because I was scared that it might be a sad song then I pressed anyway and found no it's a worship song and when I heard " I'm not here for blessings " I was like : Oh Ok, and I heard "Jesus you don't owe me anything " and I started crying because it's true and still he does everything for us. That hits me pretty hard and exposed my pain.

These are the song when I sing always makes realize why I do worship lead

What a beautiful song

I have Anxiety and depression and I was a broken person and now I know of the grace of Jesus Christ my Saviour. That he loves me so much and God our Father (ABBA) loves me unconditionally. I have thought of suicide a 100 times never attempted by the grace of Jesus Christ. In this week I have experience God restoring my joy. Praise the Lord. Invite Jesus Christ into your heart. I love having the Holy Spirit in my heart every step of the way. Thank you Melody for your Ministry and hope and your prayers.
