100 LP to promote to next rank without rank up games until master, then it's just get enough LP to be top 700? (not sure) for GM and top 200 for Challenger

all good, there's some rewards like emotes I believe (that are dependent on your rank) and a little legend you get if you're atleast gold I think. The ladder updates every day, so if for example you get 300lp in a day and are now one of the top 200 players you have to wait until the ladder updates and then you get your rank
