I'm not joking when I say this I've watched 10s of hours of KZread videos about scales, finger placement, music theory etc and I can confidently say I've learned more from this 14 minute video than the hours of other videos I've watched. If the creator of this video sees this THANK YOU SO MUCH!

omg i really want to play a violin and i am considering buying my own violin. (kind of wanna hide it from my dad cuz he doesnt like it so much and i am kinda ashamed to ask for a violin because of that) and i made my own goal to first read music notes on sheets and learn them, and if reading goes good i am going to study (lot of searching on google) were all notes are located on the violin and that kind of stuff with also collecting simple songs to practise, while i am going to buy one violin. (sad part is i probably have to buy it on the internet and that way my dad would definatly notice)
@ugurcanseref5843
6 жыл бұрын
Violin takes a lot of practice to get better so if you are not gonna practice it daily there is no point of buying it tbh. Either convince your dad or don't even consider buying it I'd say. In your first weeks you'll be working mostly on your muscle memory which is just bowing on open strings or barely useage of your left hand. So sure, watching these videos and learning at least where natural notes are played is good but it's a long journey to keep as a secret.

omg i really want to play a violin and i am considering buying my own violin.
@ugurcanseref5843

Started at the age of 39. After my PhD I wanted another 10k hours to excel at something. Violin looks like a 20000 hour thing to be absolutely a master
I have actually been playing the violin for 3 years now but I never learned the E string and this helped so much! Thank you!
This is the best video iv seen so far about violin notes
just picked up the violin after not playing for several years. ive been playing for a few days and i picked up the finger positions almost immediately. one look at the staff and i was like..oh i dont remember treble at all. perfect refresher! thanks!
This is really good for a beginner. I'm going to be using this every day until I get everything down. Thank you.
"Transfer your notes from paper onto your Violin!" Exactly what I needed!! I can sightread by mapping the notes on paper on to the violin. But to actually know what those notes are and called them by name!! this is spot on. I was wondering how on earth am I going to remember the notes on the string. This is absolutely the tutorial !
