Well said Mam
The beauty here is not (just) the knowledge/ skills, but willingness to spread what you learnt. Thank you for this attempt!
Amazing to realise what all goes into learning a kriti/swarajathi so well and sing it effortlessly on the stage. The Rasikas are the ultimate beneficiaries of so much hard work. Great of you to highlight the efforts you all go through in making it so pleasurable for us to enjoy.
A real throwback episode. The art of filling Chelpark ink in a Hero fountain pen is as much a forgotten art as writing down notations is. An ideal ODI filler series to complement the Sabha Tests and the weekend T20 shorts. Keep them coming, Anna 👍👏👏👏

At 4:31 when Paatti (your imitations are just outstanding) explains the reasons behind why she was not nondifying in the lower octaves, we are transported to each of these anecdotes making them memorable to us as well, kudos to bringing all these snippets from your life!! Thank you so much.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👌🏻🙏
Indeed, documentation from authentic sources is the mainstay of classical music. Smt. Vidya Shankar's notated books on Syama Sastry's compositions and those of Subburama Sastry and Annasamy Sastry were used by many senior musicians including Sri Govinda Rao, who has mentioned the same in his foreword. Vidyama learnt them from the great grandson of S.Sastry himself.
🙏❤🌹
Was waiting to see this release....... wonderful ......you have certainly thrown light on this subject ....added to this, you have also chosen the gracious raga Yadukulakambhoji.....wish to hear you singing this complete swarajati !!
Thoroughly enjoyed this anecdote. And loved the fountain pen too!
Wonderfully expressed. Nowadays your English matches with singing abilities. Hope to hear your concert live if ticket pricing agrees with my money pouch.
Shows your humbleness in learning the keerthana though you have crossed many a milestone. Salute you for this wonderful episode
Thank you for sharing this kind of video....... Your videos are very interesting to see sir....... And your body language while speaking is superb sir...... Congratulations
Such a sweet episode!! Was hoping that we will have a complete retreat of this swrajathi. BTW came in on seeing you writing using a fountain pen!! Don't know what makes this video so spl.. pen or your way of presenting it or Swarajathi teaser!!
Excellent insight into the value of notations and the importance to be given to the notations. Thank you very much, Sanjay for sharing all these knowledge that you have acquired to one and all.
If that's a Parker 51 you inked up and used, good on you. A real classic :)
Nice!!!!!!
After this episode, expecting the full song to be heard from your voice in one of he future episodes,
Superb episode. Sri Govinda Rao garu did an amazing job of providing notations. Thank you for highlighting his contribution. Love your narration.
Sanjay Sir, 🙏🙏🙏. Thank you for sharing with us.
Very Happy to hear this Sanjay Sir that you mentioned about our Parama Guru and feeling blessed to have our Parama Guru T.K.G sirs books given by Himself.🙏 In the presence of my Guru Smt.T.R.Balamani .It's a treasure truly
That was a bolt, indeed ! For the past few days I have been referring Sri T. K. Govinda Rao , and Prof. Sambhamurthy ‘s same uruppadi and saw this today . Thank you very much
Really wonder episode... Thanks for sharing your experience

Wonderful Sanjay sir👏
This is sweetest and lively interview I ever seen.
Very interesting to know. Thank you anna.
Super Sanjay Sir
Brilliant and scholarly may God keep you blessed
Great! Notation is also important in view of globalization and our grandchildren being spread all over the world.
Interesting! This swarajati is so similar in style to the bhairavi swarajati by Shyamasastri that I am so fond of. (I am just a novice so please ignore and excuse me if my comment is too commonplace🙏)
Very happy that you shared the way you learnt to notate and it's importance. Whatever we learn we must make it compulsory to notate which will be very useful when we forget also at our old age. Thank you very much for sharing this wonderful experience. Namaskaram.
Scholarly. U r one of a kind. God bless you
Beautiful You made it again SS Finally, the hero pen and Chelpark ink... Nostalgia
Wonderfully, explained 👏 It shows, your hard work, sincerity and determination to learn anything perfectly
Super🍁🍁
Thank you for the insightful sharing…

Expressed wonderfully!!👌👌👏👏👏👏🌹🌹
What a remarkable presentation?
Beautiful 😇🤗 episode 🙏🏼
Every notation is a note by itself. And there is story behind every notation and note is amirtham
Very nice very informative...
Lovely episode! Look forward to more
🌹👌👍🏆🏆🏆🏆
Blessed 🙏🙏🙏
Is it over? Very beautiful episode. Can you please sing all the swarajathis of syama sastri
Thank you for this episode! It beautifully brought out the advantage of documentation and the danger of learning from a recording. In future episodes, could you please talk about notating and learning gamaka's in compositions?
Awesome 👏
Do you plan to add other avenues like Apple Music or Spotify for patrons to listen to your concerts?
Sanjay. I am unable to resume my patron status after it was paused due to some payment issue. I updated the payment detail but problem persists. Thank you
