Dawn is an adult Nurse Practitioner in the Krembil Neuroscience Program. She received her Masters of Nursing from the University of Toronto and is certified as a Nurse Practitioner Adult. Dawn is cross-appointed to the University of Toronto where she is an instructor in the graduate program and mentors many graduate nursing students. Dawn is completed her PhD in organizational development with a research focus on health, organizational identity and program evaluation. Since 2013, Dawn has been an active board member of the World Federation of Neuroscience Nursing. Dawn was an editor and contributor of the first neuroscience textbook for Canadian neuroscience nurses. Dawn remains actively engaged in the care and management of the neuroscience patient
