Who else here loves Sweeney Todd? It's one of my favorite musicals, and I almost can't believe I hadn't arranged any music from it before this! I hope you enjoy this intertwining of melodies and textures from two of the most famous love songs in all of theater, Not While I'm Around and Johanna. Put your razors away... Thanks for listening!! Yeah, Not While I’m Around by itself would have been awesome too, I just couldn’t resist putting these together after a moment of inspiration while I was writing! I guess that means I can always write a stand-alone “Not While Im Around” in the future!

Your version is by far the best I’ve heard, much like all the covers. I know you’ve mentioned before that you feel discouraged that people visit, listen for a minute, and leave. I’m guilty of that myself, but I seek your videos whenever I’ve had a bad day and need some inspiration. I sometimes jump to certain parts to hear the amazing runs and crescendos you perform keys, just to get the rush I need. Just know that your talent doesn’t go unnoticed.

@@mlseim Thanks for sharing that! It's definitely difficult at times... I view much of the purpose of my music as sharing joy, passion, compassion, emotion etc with everyone else in the world. If people aren't listening, then... well simply put, there's no point haha. But I really appreciate you mentioning that you visit often, even if in brief spurts! The length of time doesn't matter nearly as much as the feelings the music leaves you with.
