I'm very happy I watched this review. I think this line may be more targeted to women like me who are going through menopause, cause once this stage of life brings extra dryness in the hair due to hormonal changes.

I'm a LCO girl but I usually don't add oil when my hair is wet (unless I am testing out products). With these products the first time I added the hair and scalp oil/butter after my hair was about 90% dry but after that initial use I only apply the hair and scalp oil/butter when I'm taking my twists down

Yes homemade flaxseed gel can flake a lot at the end of the week. I will say when I have made and used it, using oil when putting up at night helps as well as oil on your hands when manipulating. the good thing is that homemade flaxseed gel washes out so easily from my hair.

Thank you for the review. I actually don't mind the shea based formulas. I make them for my self and daughters. My Middle daughter have waist length dark sandy brown 4A/4B hair and her hair stays thirsty for oil. The youngest has mid back dark 4A hair that is silky but loves liquid and creams but repels heavy oil. The oldest has arm pit length 4B/4C Curls that is thick as the amazon forest and drinks oil and shea butter up like diesel truck! I can use heavy shea immediately after washing while wet. Once my hair is dry I can only use it on my ends because it will weigh my hair down like a wet cat! So I guess it depends on hair type. It is called Donna's recipe so I guess her fro lives for shea butter! I too am not a fan of sweet hair products so i get what you mean about smelling your hair when you lay down.

I hope she comes out with a new scent kinda like how pattern introduced that new palo santo scent to their regular products…. I’ll buy it up again so fast if she does. I LOVED that cream oil…

That shampoo was not moisturizing for me so I use it as my first wash then follow up with something more hydrating. The conditioner was ok but I like Pattern better. But I like the leave-in and extra creamy hair and scalp oil. The extra creamy hair cream is my absolute favorite tho. It's so good. I love the smell of everything. For context, I've only used it on straight hair.

So what you are saying is that your life is normal. Mine too. Yesterday I woke up, amen, praise the lord! Then I got ready for work. I got a lift to the bus stop. I met a nice lady there we talked, we got on our bus, sat next to each other and talked some more. I arrived at the office took my lunch to the fridge, got some coffee and ate my breakfast while booting up the computer. My daughter called me, we talked for a few minutes and I worked. I ate lunch the one I brought to work. I ordered dinner from KFC waited for 3 plus hours to get that, I ate, I visited my brother and I came home. I did my night time routine and I went to bed. If I had to film that people would be like what a boring as2 life. But they were moments of funny. I got off at the wrong stop when I went to visit my brother and had to walk a mile to get to him. I almost peed myself on that walk. I talked to my brother about spirits and demons because I think when you believe in good, you have to believe that the bad also exists. I cussed out my daughter who quarrelled with me for coming home after nine. I am grown woman I will come home when I want too.

My suggestion is start with a topic and vlog that, for example picking out hair products at the store for your next video, or shoe shopping, or Sunday dinner or meal prep. Just stick to a topic for the actual vlog. I would love to see that.

You can make a separate channel for vlogs, work out and stuff like that! because I like researched or read somewhere that trying to mix something your known for and already get great views on with something different, it'll be hard to do and the views will be lower because people on this channel will expect hair and want hair, vs if you make a different channel for vlogs and weight loss etc then your audience over there will expect and want that. Like for your live streams that's why you always get hair questions cuz it's an account you mainly or always talk about your hair and so that's what people want and expect to talk about. But if you made another channel and went live from there with a different audience wanting a different thing you'll get different questions.
