Not-So-Uninteresting Saurab elevator at Hotel Ganapati Palace in Dhule, Maharashtra
July 28, 2022 - Just your basic generic elevator at a decent hotel in a town. Cabs are basic with a little design pattern and the best part, it goes on standby mode approximately 10-12 seconds after closing. Exactly like one museum in Leeds, West Yorkshire which was filmed by Reece ( YT user Lift Inspector ). Other than that, it's a nice elevator.

Who is Saurab? 😂😂 Jokes aside, the voice unit is weird as hell. And the standby mode, although it might save energy, might startle someone if they are unaware of it as they will be fumbling in the dark as a cost of their indecisiveness. Not bad for a small hotel tho.

I get the joke but lots of generics in India have names like this. And power saving mode, i somehow find it cool.

WTF a looped "Songbird" song from Kenny G?! Sounds like they're trying to compete with Suzhou Monarch Control (who often uses Kenny G's "Going Home" song) but in an underrated way. I mean really, this one just sounds....quite underrated.

Yeah kinda. I heard this tune also in a generic hydro at Eskay Resort in Borivali, Mumbai and a Johnson elevator at an apartment building in Ulwe, Navi Mumbai. It's kinda strange, so I'm not sure what kind of control this thing runs on.

@@NeilPrasad_1905 I think all new Johnson lifts use Kenny G now. And this tune was an ear worm for me for SIX YEARS until Google managed to figure out guessing music from humming 😂
