I was advised to diversify my portfolio among several assets such as stocks and bonds since this can protect my inherited portfolio of about $2.5m. I’m used to just buying and holding assets which doesn’t seem applicable to the current rollercoaster market plus inflation is catching up with my portfolio. I’m really worried about survival after retirement.

True, I mostly just buy and hold stocks, but my portfolio has been mostly in the red for quite awhile now. Unfortunately to be able to make good gains, you’ll need to be consistent and restructure your portfolio frequently.

In my opinion, it was much easier investing back in the 60s but it’s a lot trickier now, those making consistent profit in these times are professionals reason I’ve been using an advisor for the past 5 years to consistently build my portfolio in preparations for retirement.

I believe a healthy portfolio has 3 things, at the bare minimum: Exposure to ETFs for increased diversification, Exposure to assets that generate cash flow like dividend stocks, Exposure to market-leading tech.

The market is not necessarily a rollercoaster if you know your way around the market, there are various opportunities in the present market to accrue good profit, If you are not too savvy with the market, just buy and hold on strong companies with good earnings, or consult with advisors on ETFs and actively managed funds. that’s what works for my spouse and I. We've made over 80% capital growth minus dividends.

I'm quite lucky exposed to finance at an early age, started job at 19, purchased first home at 28, got laid-off work at 36 just after the rona-outbreak in 2020, going forward, immediately hired an advisor to keep my head above water, and in return, I'm only 25% short of $1m after subsequent investments to date.

You need to look at every aspect being a traitor you’re obviously not a traitor or an investor that makes a living in the stock market. You take a glance at everything doesn’t mean you gotta bring it in, but every bit of data helps you build your repeatable process and adjusted on the go because nothing stays the same forever.

Thanks for the market insights. I reached my all time highs a few weeks ago. I am now leaning toward protecting my capital and doing a few swing trades with copper and oil for spending money. Do it yourself investing is the best. why hire a social media professional ? They will lose all your money. If you are doing poorly just buy SPY and hold you will do better than 90 percent.

NFA or CFTC You don’t need all that go to spot gamma I spend you a couple months understanding option market positioning, options derivatives run the market. It’s good to know where the overall positioning is and the trigger points for the CTA but it’s less importance. I’ve been trading for a decade, I can tell you that the chart , tells you everything

can opportunities be found on other smart chains like ETC or poly, or is the software only for binance smart chain

Global Marco fundamentals and Commercial Realestate are throwing up major red flags. Seems like it's getting much closer that something big could break. Most will Ape in with the long waited pivot and get burnt just like in most recessions. Lots of Liquidity out there which should keep rates higher longer which will make the coming crisis bigger than expected so this time will be different. Of course, the timing is always the hardest part to predict but the smart money is treading very lightly.
