There is so much impressive to me about this song on drums. But when the full band kicks in, those little ride hits… *chef’s kiss* Travis is definitely an insanely creative drummer. Like, it’s rare I think a drummer makes a song better. But he legit adds to the song. And you nailed it, dude!

Would have perfectly ended the Untitled album Actually if you snag SRC’s pressing og untitled on vinyl this song is on there as the final track after “I’m lost without you” It fits perfectly

In many ways it sounds like a Boxcar Racer song so maybe thats why it didn't match style... idk i love it.

The snare hits at 0:27 has to be one of my favorites of Travis’ many fills. The energy behind the drumming in this song is fantastic.

a year later but what the heck lol. The version that I got over here (South Africa) is the UK version of the untitled album which included Anthem Part 2 Live and Not Now. Was also released on the greatest hits album. @@getdrunkandrock

Hands down the best cover on KZread of this song. Accurate and solid syncopated tom part for the intro and middle 8. Really clean doubles in the pre-chorus (and middle 8 outro). All filmed in one continuous shot so no editing meaning it was all performed in one concise take -- brilliant. This is how every drum cover on KZread should be delivered.

@@DrumDevil95 Travis is indeed left-handed. But I mean there isn't really a "lefty" setup. You do whatever is comfortable with the kit. I could never work that out before I understood drums. That even right handed people hit the dominant snare with their undominant left. If you watch a lot of his stuff, he does both. Plenty of drummers do. Again - it's really whatever is more comfortable. I'm right handed and always wanted to snare hit with my right from the moment I picked up sticks. Just instinct. Therefore I'd play "lefty" even though I'm right handed. It's also NOT what your weaker hand is. Example, I am right handed. Meaning on guitar you strum with your right hand - but your fretted hand - the left in that case - is actually considerably stronger from pushing down on the strings. But that same hand could not strum or pick a single note. Because i'm not left handed. *shrugs*.

This is a MASTERFUL cover of this. Your timing and accuracy are incredible.

As a 30 year adult I just realized that Travis may have the IT factor holding that whole band together. Oh yea excellent cover man, flawless!

Without him, they're Lit or Good Charlotte...a middling pop punk band with some catchy songs that are not particularly memorable. He probably had more impact on this band than any other drummer has had on any other rock band. Turned them from a run-of-the-mill pop punk act into the biggest band of their era. It's really incredible to think about.
