This caught my eye because I'm pretty sure the still in the background is from the lyric video I made for this song. 😆 Glad you liked it, Brother Firetribe are amazing. Emppu is no longer in the band, but their most recent album (released 2020) is one of their absolute best IMO.

I love Empuu.......... I like that he played more in this song. And you are right about playing what is needed or shredding. Empuu is the perfect personality and person for Nightwish. And in Brother Firetribe he can let loose a little bit. Great choice............ :-)

Haha Ann, I see you´re a fan, so here´s a little explanation for you. Emppu, he´s not a choice, nope. They all are best of friends and this Firetribe is their "serious" sideproject, at least was originally. All members are purely pro musicians and they started this for fun. Their name is taken from the Finnish tennisplayer, Veli Paloheimo, for laughs and giggles. Very freely translated Palo = Fire and Heimo is a Tribe. Oh yeah and Veli is Brother, ofc. Their 1st album was "False Metal", get it as you will. On their way they´ve made awesome music, awesome coversongs and had even Anette olzon as a visitor in their Heart full of Fire Album/song. Emppu should really stay in Firetribe, it´s so perfect combination. We all love him, that´s all that counts. So go Emppu! In Nightwish and in Firetribe :-)

You need to do Sentenced either on February 19th or October 1st. Feb 19, 2009 is when their guitarist/main composer Miika passed away, Oct 1st 2005 was when the band passed away (They had a funeral tour, it's a whole thing.) I suggest the medley song of The Suicider/Excuse Me While I Kill Myself from the Buried Alive DVD (their final concert). In the coming weeks I will be posting all the footage from the DVD on my channel, because most of the stuff currently available has poopy compression and it hurts my heart.

Intro gives me Dire Straits wibe and then song kicks in with cool late 80's wibe. After that its pure gold bass break and then bass goes to support mode and its time to singer shine. You are in point with Emppu and not shredding even he could, respect the music and when you got it, you dont need to show off

New artists... Wintersun, Ne Obliviscaris, Gojira, Devin Townsend, Archspire, Opeth... That should keep you going for a while.

Great band.... they have tons of great music....TONS... Guitarist is the same guy that plays for Nightwish… Try some Eclipse, W.E.T., Poets of the Fall and DARE... these are all European Rock/ Metal bands but not super heavy.... if you're game I can provide links..
