I love Bad Buddy, but when I watched Not Me it really enraptures me that I no longer feel so hype for Bad Buddy😂, lol, I'm still in love with that series but like what Jennie and P'Go said here, Not Me is so damn good from the plot, production, soundtrack, cinematography and right down to the acting skills. This is a BL series gamechanger! Like P'Go said as well, when I watch Not Me I don't even think of it as a typical BL series, it does not focus so much on the romance and that is a breath of fresh air! 😍💚

For me, this is the best BL series ever. Everything just...perfect.

We're still in ep. 2 but they already left us with lots of questions in our minds. They're like telling us "okay, here's another thing you should think about for the rest of the week. see ya next sunday." Haha can every day be Sunday? So we can watch "Not Me". We're all in this together!

The series is so good, we have so many social issues and laws being ignored, questions and misteries but whenever there is a scene with Off and Gun romance pops up to my mind. The whole cast is so amazingly good. Lots of love from Brazil

This series and Bad Buddy I love so much. They really switching it up. I also love how they gave off a serious role. We finally get to see his range. Him and gun definitely have it.

I think this BL has the best soundtrack and camera shots.

For people comparing bad buddy and not me - sorry they are completely different. Bad buddy is great and its literally focusing on patpran’s love story - you expect romance and fluff watching this. not me on the other hand is not just a bl but also tackling social issues - probably when u watch this you may have an impression that this is not Y series. People / some Y fans still new to this kind of dark bl genre. Like what pjenn said, we are still curious on how they will execute the bl (love story in a serious situation) just like what is the current setting of the series. Not me’s target audience are local viewers, since there are many messages they want to portray and relay in every ep as they tackle every symbols of protests and issues in TH. The complexity of this Y series is still new to others, or probably its not their viewer’s preference.

I think you’d be surprised how much of this also applies to America. I can’t speak about the rest of the world, and not locally to you, but I also can get lessons. Black Lives Matter, Trans Rights, Human rights, all of these are still hotly debated. Heck even occupy wallstreet was about the super rich taking advantage of the rest of us. I hope for more media of all kinds like this. Get more people, younger people, talking about human rights issues.

As a foreign fan, it is incredibly interesting for me to observe such a breakthrough in Thai cinema, especially in the bl genre. "Not me" - seriously, guys, everything is at the highest level in it: the acting (and the actors themselves)), and the plot (especially the details), and the educational component, especially it (because it allows you to get to know the country in more detail, and not at the tourist level). I am generally delighted with the director, especially after watching the videos "behind the scenes". Huge love and respect for her and staff.🤩

I am not from Thailand so I have different cultural expectations about series and BL, but I was so tired of BL series where the focus is the romance. I was really waiting for a series where the focus is something else and there are BL elements in it. I was waiting for Kinnporsche for this but Not Me came out first and I am loving it. (I read the novel and did not like it, so I am loving this version)

It's quite awkward for me since I'm IGOT7 and this novel was MarkBam and JackBam fan fiction (If I'm not wrong) Most of Thai fan are really serious about bringing fan fiction to the series because it's illegal and it shouldn't made money. But at the same time I really like OffGun and the series is so damn good production . Now I'm really lost about making a decision.

@@babii0610 Right? I myself am a Bad Buddy series fan. But I know we can't just compare one series to another easily. I saw so many of them comparing BBS and ATOTS (1000stars) and went as far as calling the latter boring. Like, smh. Not all series revolve around 2 main leads' storyline. Some tackle social issues, like you said. In case of ATOTS, there is a story told with many moral lessons to be learned.
