I can't think of any game where you have to fight knowing you're dying like this one. It's a very unique masterpiece.

I like how it ends in sort of a devastating tragedy, but we still have our new hope in cloud.

Everytime the music starts I cant hold it in anymore

Imagine praying for a hero and almost getting Zack but instead getting Cloud. It would have seemed like a major letdown at first, but it all works out.

I know all that was sad for you at the end. Just remember that has now been changed and we'll be seeing Zack again soon enough in FF7 REBIRTH!!!

Don't read until you want the explanation. That came after I wrote it and hit resume. 36:29 Genesis announced remake to not be in production, but promised; the conclusion to the compilation. Also, Yes Genesis is alive. In Dirge he made another appearance in a hidden cutscenes, announcing their upcoming "play". Note remake's first dlc which had the very man Genesis was holding as an antagonist is called intermission, a pause between long sessions in a play. Act 2 of loveless described Zack and Aerith's fates in the compilation before remake. Act V is remake trilogy itself. Fun fact, Weiss is holding Genesis the same way Genesis will hold him at Weiss's death.
