clicked on this video soooo quickly!!! Ali is an author that I don’t love every book she writes but they’re just such fun romances I end up reading all of them 😅

I love how you can review a book without giving much spoilers about the actual book! 😍 I've already read it before I'm running around finding the review for the book. I felt like Ali Hazelwood did a total genre shift (my edition had a brief mention to think of it more of an erotic romance than romcom... I wonder if it was added soon after or on newer prints?). I felt like it's a grumpy x sunshine but gender shift so I really enjoyed it 😂 I really really wished they added more scenes with Eli's friends because their interaction was 💯 for me. Personally, I gave it 5 stars for all the vibes because I reaaaally enjoyed it 😅 Much more of a mindless read from all the books I've read recently so I didn't mind too much.

thanks so much!! I'm glad you enjoyed the book so much. I definitely think it's a lot different from the rom coms she's done in the past, it's a lot more angsty and steamy.
