She wasn't emotional because Clarke yelled at her lol. Lexa has nonchalantly killed people for even questioning her. She was emotional because of her own mix of feelings, Clarke bringing up Costia (which is a trauma tigger) and everything she told her about herself (which was a daring thing to do). No one but Clarke would've gotten away with their life for talking to Lexa the way she did several times. Lexa was long ago emotionally traumatized, and for the first time in years she started feeling for someone she had a connection with. By this point, she's allowed herself to properly feel and get vulnerable with Clarke. That's part of the reason she let her get away with a lot and opens up further, expressing her feelings and kissing her. Lexa also always knows her duty and boundaries and doesn't push things beyond what is sensible. I love that she respected when Clarke stopped and she immediately pulled back. And in season 3 she lets Clarke go through the rollercoaster of feelings she has toward her (even with a knife to her throat) without approaching her romantically, letting Clarke arrive at what she wants on her own, among all the dire things that are happening around Lexa and the danger she's in. Lexa long accepted her eventual fate and though she's always ready to fight for her cause, she knows it can come at any point, meanwhile Clarke doesn't quite see that fate in the near horizon for Lexa so she's in no rush until she has to go back to be people and has to be separated from her. I'm getting far away from the original comment, but that moment when Clarke tells her maybe someday they won't owe anything to their people, you know Lexa's thinking that day will never come. This is just a small part of the character, but it's one of the many reason I admire Lexa, and one of the many reasons she's such an outstanding and beautifully complex character

Yeah I feel like it was really not necessary of her to mention Costia to Lexa. Clarke doesn’t know anything about it or about how Lexa feels or what she had to go through to get over the pain and grieve. I think that is why Lexa cried in the end and for Clarke to use her biggest pain and weakness against her to prove her point was kinda mean. If it wasn’t Clarke, Lexa would have killed her easily after what she said.

Meanwhile, Clarke not only questioned Lexa's decisions multiple times but also threatened her, insulted her, and held a knife to her throat, without consequence from Lexa. That's how whipped Lexa was.

I hate where the 100 went. It used to be SOOOO good. Like every episode was a banger. I miss when this show was great. I wish Lexa never died and they never did the evil AI story. I wish the city of light was an actual place, and I wish the one kru Octavia stuff happened in a different way (it was kinda cool), like she proves herself and some grounders start following her or something or they are against the established grounder bloodline. It would have been dope to fight between Lexa and Clarkes people versus Octavias people. I wished they kept it simple and never went back to space/time travel BS.
