I love his style, one of my fav drummers.

i only started listening to this band a month or two ago and this drummer is a beast its just pure power I'm not sure yet if I'd say he's better than Dave Mclain from Machine Head though

He's such a good drummer! If you watch his right hand at 2:23 he hits the bottom of his ride dymbla and it screws him for like 0.2 sec.

I dont bout u's but he may seem arkward cause he's actually hitting the drums with some force instead of the usual soft tap by other hardcore drummers.

@dedmit Most 1 year drummers don't have a double bass pedal nor the skill to use one, let alone can they do the alternating pattern (1-2 1 1-2 1) at that speed. The sound quality here isn't that great anyway.

Blasts with his arm !! Flying fingers is better IMO but both ways get the fucking job done !!! Devildriver own.

Adler is good, Boecklin is better. This is my opinion based on chops alone. They both write drum parts perfectly to the riffs and vocals. I think Boecklin's drums carry devil driver songs. They sound like a band who writes around the drums. Both awesome drummers though.

what you've just said means fuck all, having signature sticks, cymbals drums etc means fuck all when it comes to skill. Chris Adler is good, you can't take that away from him, but its the fact that he claims to try and be different yet the way he plays it looks as though he's overplaying and really trying to set himself apart. sorry if you disagree
