Not All Silver Is Equal - This Is What I Have Learnt Selling £69,000+ Worth Of Silver!
Ойын-сауық

In this video I talk about how I think we can all buy silver or buy gold for the lowest silver price or gold price and sell for the best silver price or gold price. I propose to call it the Backyard Bullion Buyers Club and this would be a way to save money when buying and selling gold and silver. Investing in gold and silver is difficult and it is even more hard to sell things effectively. I can help by connecting buyers with sellers so that we do not have to rely on dealers making as much money out of us as possible.
If you want to sign up as a buyer please email: byb@backyardbullion.com and if you have silver that you might want to sell then I want to hear from you as well!
This video is my opinion only and should not be interpreted as financial advice.

It's just pleasant and informative chit chat about something we all like. No egos, no quick rich schemes, Billy Big Bucks investment pressure or ponzi advice. Genuine chat. Love it-Thank you.
I listened to all of it. It’s 2am and I should be asleep but I like a bit of good natured chit-chat about precious metals. I’d rather have a happy life than get stressed making more money for the sake of it too. Calling your wife Mrs Backyard Bullion made me smile😊
Really wish there was some person, KZreadr, shop…whatever doing this in the US! There’s money to be made at more reasonable price points. I think my regrets in not knowing about precious metals 20 years ago fuels my frustration as a new stacker now.

Watching a zillion of these YT metals channels, some have spoken about that and it seems there is no standard. Each dealer may have a different opinion of what they want.
Keep doing what you're doing! You're one of a very few KZread stackers who's videos I watch all the way through.
I always listen til the end because other people's perspectives, even if they don't match mine 100%, are always valuable to take in, BYB is a wise fella, and I support his channel with clicking 👍 as soon as I get here, I plug in a channel member emoji for the algo, and a full view (sometimes two) to also boost the algo
We stay and listen to the end because you have a way of mesmerizing us with the way you rotate the coins around the table.

Thank you for your very reasonable and informative content. I appreciate the fact that you are not a precious metals "pumper" or someone who exaggerates the potential profits from precious metals stacking. I also think you are very lucky to have a supportive spouse like Mrs. Backyard Bullion (and she is lucky to have you too) and I applaud your expression of gratitude to her about that. Gratitude is probably one of the most important ingredients to a happy life.
Interesting, out of the ordinary video - BYB. Your comments about what sells fast and why - and what doesn't - are insightful, which is why I listened to the end. I'll keep them in mind when deciding what to stack/collect going forward, thank you. ;-)
great channel good luck with the bullion venture.
Another great 'ramble'. Always a pleasure, right to the end.
I love your videos and thank you for these insights! Please MORE! Thank you and take care
great analysis thank you :)
Perfect video. Your followers want you to be happy with what you are doing for us all. You have confirmed that you have it under control and are enjoying it. Plus you're making a few quid doing your hobby. I tip my hat to you sir
The best way to get silver in my option is in the old circulated British silver I bought some George V florins for £10 an OZT yesterday Often antique/coin shops provide the best deals

Here in the US we have constitutional silver. Our government used to have the coinage at 90% silver. So now coins that were worth face value in 1964 is now worth over 20x face value.
Very interesting ramble. Thankyou
Great job again on your video, appreciate all the hard work. 😄

I watch until the end because I always find it interesting and you take the time to make them so I feel I should watch to the end
I listened to your videos because it gives me a perspective other than what I get in the U.S. Plus I like the accent! 😅👍
100% agree with u on everything u talk about. And u tell it as it is. Learning me a lot about stacking. That why I’m in the cool kids club lol👍ps and I would buy more at one time if prices were lower
Thank you. I watch to the end because it is funny how you always seem surprised that you have rambled for so long. It has an air of innocence. 🙂
Your a step up from the radio and i get visual how cool is that, a hello to Mrs BYB.
I watched you since I started stacking a few months ago. Love your hand made silver, and when save up I will be more gold. Just had a big vet bill from one of my cats that wipe out my gold fund I had saved up to buy something.
Wow those kilo coins are amazing. Good video and points made BYB.
We listen because your advice is grounded and based on the little person Facebook is becoming more a dealers website rather than a group of like minded people
I think in the end it's about the weight of the silver not how pretty it is unless there's somebody looking for that certain piece that is willing to pay the collectible price
An enjoyable and informative video. Think what your doing is great. It’s said.. if you enjoy what you do You will never work a day in your life. That’s the whole point isn’t it. To do everything on your own terms enjoying the journey as you go. If it’s not broken. Why try to fix it. Think this concept works for everyone. I know I personally like the set up 👏
Love your channel. A few years ago I tried to sell my low-premium gold coins that are made by the Scottsdale mint such as Cayman Island, Barbados, etc. None of the LCS would buy them, not even at a 5% below spot. One said 20% below spot, because he would need to ship it for melt price. I learned that the high-premium gold buffalos have the premium because it can be easily sold. I am buying the ability to sell it fast.
I like being a byb rambler thays why i say the good enoughbe at the end best way to do it.. 💪
I have collected gold and silver , but have recently started buying bronze, check out the 1867 Canadian Confederation medal, 10oz they recently done restrike in 2017, the detail and quality is just profound.
Haha, 16 mins of nice attitude helps balance myself. Great that it also happens to be about an interest of mine. Would love to be in a position to be employed by you!
Those are some lovely pieces of silver. WOW
I love this video by the way. You have become human by revealing a bit about yourself, more than just a show.
I had a 2017 Lion Dollar from the Netherland Mint. This coin was awarded the coin of the year. I paid $3,500 USD. A few years later, I tried to sell it. Apmex offered me $2100 (when gold was at $1600/oz). I put it on ebay, and 2 more years later, it sold for $3,800. I lost about $200 between fees and shipping. Never again will I do this.
Nice work, 4 days for all of those Geiger bars to sell was pretty good 👍
Always listen to the end and the waffles.. Only watching half way is like reading half a book 🤣🤣🤣 thanks for sharing the insight 👍👍👍🙌🙌🙌
"Why!" Made me chuckle...
That gold britannia is my absolute favourite, this week i acquired a 10oz Three Graces, 2 x 10oz britannias coins, a Tudor Beast 10oz Yale, and a 10oz Rroyal Arms. All swapped for 2 x 10oz bars and a 1kg Completer.and a discount on 1963 sovereign. A further great week ahead when I take ownership of 3 x Victoria shield back sovs. If I knew that 10oz QB completers were going to be available I wouldn't have bothered with the 1kg equivalent.
This is stuff we all love to learn, thank you so much for sharing.

Glad it was helpful!
From my perspective on the US market, majority of people are no longer buying things that are high price "collectors" items unless it really collectable like the Silver Beskar Bars from the Mandalorian and are now just stacking the cheapest silver whether its Coins, Bars, or Rounds they want it cheap...
im free available if you need a good driver...ford eccosport 2022 vehicle......theres a lack of decent secure deliveries and the system in place is in a bad way with strikes etc.
Keep it simple would be my advice, if it works and you are marking money leave it as it is 👍

Good tip!
Always informative, thank you for posting. The BRICS+ nations are hoovering-up gold, as they turn away from the petro-dollar. Why are they doing this? Are they hoarding Silver sticks as well?
Where can I buy Royal Mint sovereigns in the USA?
Sold 3 oz the other day £100. Managed to pass premium and VAT onto the end user privately.
I collected 2 of each of the QB 10oz coins except for the Completer, which is the only one I bought in 1oz gold. They were an amazing series of consistently high grade coins unlike the 2oz variety. That kilo coin is a stunning piece, but unfortunately, the timing is not right for me as I am concentrating on gold now. Americans and Australians are definitely more active stackers than we Canadians. Edit: I always listen to the end.
I am in the Netherlands and we also have 21% vat on silver coins but only over the dealers margin. So i can buy maple leafs and philharmoniker for 25 pounds and Britannias 2023 queen for 25,25 pounds. I live near hook van Holland maybe i can do something when you come on Holiday in the summer, ofcourse i want euro. Also a kilo bar i can buy for 766 pounds niue coin bar.
I don't see how sliver makes sense given the premiums + VAT in UK - what you are left with is collectability premiums which isn't a great place to be for liquidity. Gold to me at least is just a far better store of value and easily convertible at a good price should the need arise
I would happily employ my wife!!! Good answer lol 😂 I had a feeling it would take off and be big. Good luck
Another great video. I’ve really enjoyed your series and this project. I would love to find someone trustworthy doing the same here in the US. This particular video was especially interesting to me. I’ve just sold a 10 ounce queens beast Yale coin through eBay at an acceptable price to me. And I’m interested in buying a 10 ounce griffin, lion, or dragon. I’ll have to spend quite a bit more for those coins than I received for the Yale. And I’m trying to be a stacker, not a coin collector. So, to hear prices that you thought were reasonable For the Griffin, and the Completer, was very useful. Of course, I had to convert pounds to dollars, and the UK is a very different market than the US. But it gave me an idea of what might be a reasonable price to pay for those coins. Thanks!

PS I also want to buy one of your hand poured pieces. They are beautiful and the fact they are hand poured by genuine stacker with a passion for silver, and someone I have learned a lot from, adds a lot of value for me. Do you ship them to the US?

thank you for all the videos, why do I listen? well I am from the US and I like to hear others perspectives on things I take interest in, I follow a Scottish gun collector on YT because I take interest in what hes about and I learned a lot about gun regulations in the UK from him just like I learn a lot about what you have to put up with on PMs.
15:50 agreed
Love the Queens Beast Series wish that when they were on sale I would have bought more than just one of the Queens Beast Completer 10oz coins

More waffles!
The buyers club is a fantastic idea, anyone can sell at places like Ebay for whatever they want to try and achieve if they are willing to wait and be patient for the right buyer to come along, but for there to be another option where you can sell quickly where both the seller and buyer get a good deal is something that benefits evey stacker as it is another avenue, another on and off ramp to the super stacker highway. Very interesting when you mention the amount items have been selling for, and very inspiring when i look at my own spreadsheet, i have always kept everything valued at a modest and reasonable price in my own records, for example my britannias are all currently valued at £25 each, whatever the year, the fancy ones with the chariots or oriental borders or even the boxed BU ones, and i have all my 2oz queens beasts at £50 each, infact i would say the average value i have put on all my bullion type coins is £25oz, i have a few i value higher like the DC Comics Batman at £40 each and Marvel Spiderman at £80, Black Flag Queen Annes Revenge £50. But to think i could have everything a touch undervalued and for my bottom line to be already something i am in awe of is uplifting. Even my proof coins could do with a revalue, i have a couple of proof QB completer coins that i have valued at £100 each, checked Ebay and they are selling for double that!! 2018 10oz Valiant £180 is also outdated, i need a good afternoon of checking out my spreadsheet as i might have a better stack than i thought!
That 1kg silver coin I will buy it for the right price
I can’t believe you guys have to pay taxes on money, you’re just trading one form for another 😮
love the 10oz coins, no other mint even comes close to the tudor beasts
