Elections are supposed to be celebrations of the beauty of a democracy of a nation. It's a privilege for an individual to be able to exercise their right to be a part in choosing their leaders. It must bring a sense of national pride to a citizen and hence citizens coming out with their national flags is logical and understandable. However, in this celebration of French democracy what is the point of bringing the flag of a nation that hardly has any basic rights for women and LGBTQ+ community? The more surprising thing is that a prestigious news outlet like France 24 trying to downplay this serious occurence instead of propagating alarm in the French nationals. What left me even more shocked is seeing them trying to portray another news channel negatively for actually doing what was supposed to be France 24s job. Extremely disappointing.

She keeps showing us the fake videos and debunking them but to she can only show us a 3 second clip to back up her argument using the main flag that is on the monument us surrounded with Palestine flags and some of the writing on the flags looks very left slogans ! Had she just zoomed out of the shot to put her argument to bed we would have seen more Palestine flags and for some reason lots of S Africa flags.
