Remember the toy with music for the Madagascar movie? It was the "I like to move it" song. I had that taped to my bike. For some reason I can't find anything online about them.

our household still has a classic yorkie mug with "its not for girls" written in it. my dad has drank coffee from it every day since 2006.

george feeling unsettled due to the simple phenomenon of baked beans is my new favourite thing

The problem with games based on movies and stuff is that they make barely any money. Not alot of people really play them, and the game developers have to pay a huge amount of the games revenue in royalties to whatever music is used in the games, along with the multiple companies involved with the movie.

Though, when I went to my first secondary school, they used to serve a supermarket-brand Coco Pops, but then they stopped bc they went under FRICKING JAMIE OLIVER)

I got my DS around 5-6 years old. My dad bought me The Simpsons Game for it, but he must not have seen the age rating. Nevertheless, still a good game :3

Same I remember always thinking about how good it was and got to the point i thought I made it up in a dream the memory was that vivid then one day found out it was real and I did actually play it.

We would often go to McDonald's after watching a film for the first time in the cinema. I remember seeing ice age in cinemas and then they would always have happy meal toys on whatever main film had recently been released

Yorkies made guys think they were manly for eating it and girls think they were breaking down sexism by eating it. The marketing was pretty smart honestly.

Those Christmas savings companies were absolute scams. You'd send them money every month, and they'd give you back about 60% of it at the end of the year to buy your Christmas stuff. Loads of them went bust as well, keeping everyone's money.

I’ve been to Pontins, I can confirm the reviews - I slept on a sofa bed with big metal bits sticking out and the kitchen appliances were all held together with tape.

Cars 2 is literally the most enjoyable multi-player split screen game I have ever played bar none. I could still pick it up now and have tons of fun with the boys. Let alone my own brothers who I used to play it with.

Oh my god pontins! I went there a couple of years ago and ended up not staying there. When we got there none of the rooms ready and they were filthy. They basically got everyone in a hot room for 2 hours for them to say we were going to wait for another 3 hours before keys were going to be handed out. We ended up leaving and got a refund and wasted a day driving 4 hours there and back. At least got the chance to go to some national trust places on the drive.

About them making games for every movie, I remember I had this Bolt game and it was so much fun! I had so many hilarious moments playing that and finding glitches and the puzzles and levels were actually really good. There was also a I'm a celebrity get me out of here Ds game which was so bad but hilarious to play

Fun Fact: My primary school year six teacher was actually the woman in the snaps advert.

I was getting grape Fanta in WHSmiths not long before lockdown, it's definitely out there. I'm not sure they ever did stop making licensed movie games, they just stopped making good ones. Anyone else remember the mini Sonic games that came in Happy Meals for a while? Aaand now I'm missing Mars Planets. Why did they stop making them? Those were great!

My four year old cousin got mcdonalds on the way to our house when he came to visit and gave the reindeer beanie boo toy to my puppy when he got here. He saved it SPECIFICALLY for Dexter (the puppy). And it’s his favourite toy. He doesn’t rip it up, he just gently chews it and sleeps with it, he ADORES it
