Norweco Distributor here. I love the handles on the lids. I just called Tuff Tite in ordered some LOL. I also agree about the wipes and a class action lawsuit. Worlds worst problem and you can’t convince anybody that they are bad for any type of septic system.

I watched a video about wipes that are safe. It was made by a RV guy. Thi g Cottonell lost to.scotts. I turns to mush in minutes. Now, my grandson got ahold of a cleaning towelette. Sort of paper and cloth. That got stuck on the mid shaft. Within a week my motor popped breaker over and over. After 6 years ir purred. The septic guy came to clean and a week later motor shot. Hmmm.... Anyway when this new one goes out I will convert to air pump

Best wishes. We don't convert anything as that would violate state code. You can't redesign an OEM set up. We see it done by other companies and homeowners- some set ups are comical.

Do you precast these tank? Have you considered an effluent filter in the outlet of the trash tank?

Hi, thanks for the video. We have a similar aerator and noticed that the sound it makes changed a little. Not sure how to describe it, but it sounds like something rattles in there. The company that cleans our septic filter/aerator does not have any technicians right now so our yearly filter clean up got delayed by about 2 months. Could this be the reason for change in aerator sound? How do I know if something needs attention? There is no septic alarm as of now. Thanks again.

If you are inside of a city limits where you don't have a septic system like this, can they be flushed and it not cause any harm? You mentioned having to help the city themselves due to these but that doesn't come back on the homeowner does it? Helpful video!

They plug up the liftstations in some parts of town. They also get caught on older clay sewer lines or roots and cause trouble. The city doesn't back charge, as they can't prove where they come from. Sometimes they will send letters to certain parts of town asking homeowners to stop flushing them.

Can you go over how to set the timer. Mine is the dial with the arrow on top and bottom with 5 min incriminates starting at 30. Has a white toggle for auto/off/constant. Thanks for the info on the aerator cleaning.

Crouse Concepts no. Just what position for the 30 min. Use the set screw? Or just turn dial? I had to replace a couple components inside and haven’t been able to get it back to the factory original 30 min.

There should be a dial adjustable from 30 o continuous in 5 min increments. I could send you a picture of what our controls look like or send me yours to our Facebook page

I have this system but the control box that is in the uv light chamber has a lot of corrosion on the circuit board and terminal connectors does norweco sell just the circuit board? I can't find anything online like it.

They will only sell through authorized dealers. You should be able to find that info on their page or by calling. I'm not really that familiar with the UV set-up, but I would think you can get the board alone. Did you figure out what caused the corrosion?

I have SINGULAIR model 960-500GPD WE JUST MOVE IN AND THEY EMPTY AND CLEAN BUT I DONT KNOW HOW THE START THE MACHINE

They may have unplugged it at the tank. Depending on age, there could be a switch inside the alarm box. It will need service every 6 months or at least once a year, so you may want to find a local dealer.

Where do you find rebuild kits ( bearings and seals ) for motor of do you have that information, needing some direction!! Cheers

We don't rebuild this motor ourselves. Norweco has a refurbished unit available and usually does a pro-rated price based on age. I do know of some companies who have them rebuilt at a motor shop.

Does the aerator tip of the shaft need to be under the water line

Yes. The normal operating level should be around halfway up the stainless steel shaft.

Can this issue cause high water alarm??

No, a high water alarm is likely caused by a plugged filter, blocked discharge (if it surface discharges) or a high water table/heavy rain that saturated the leach field.

Is that aerator supposed to run all the time?

They are typically set up to run for 30 minutes and then off for 30. They can be adjusted to run longer or continuously.

@crouseconcepts5862 I can't figure out how to make mine run for 30. Got a timer for the pump, and a timer for the aerator, but the aerator never stops. If it works like that, then I'm fine with it.
