I live in Norway, so let me explain: In the northern part of Norway, it is always sun in the summer, and the sun never sets. Meanwhioe, in the winter, it's always dark. And just a reminder: In Norway it's winter about 8 months of the year. But in the south part of Norway, there is mostly sun in the summer, and it just barely sets. We can only barely see it behind the mountains. But in the winter, there is kinda the same, but switched. So it's dark most of the time, and a few hours of sun in about the middle of the day. So there you have it :)

I live in Norway :) This is only in the Northern part of Norway, and only in summer. In Winter it is always Dark, and never Sun. But I live in the South part of Norway. Here it is mostly sunny in the summer, but sometimes it gets dark (never really dark, just a little), meanwhile in the winter the days are "shorter" which means there is only a few hours with sun, before it get's dark. It's dark around 18 hours of the day :)
