Exactly 16 years ago, Aamodt won the Olympic Super G in Torino. I became a huge Fan, when he lost Downhill Gold against Tommy Moe in Lillehammer 1994...i am still sad about that because he wasn't able to win the Downhill Gold later.😅 i was 9 years of age at this time. I followed his career until 2006 and was so happy, that he was able to finish his career with another Gold Medal. Salt Lake City 2002 was amazing, too...So thanks Kjetil for the beautiful memories. Just a shame that i will never meet you personally.

You can send a letter to him, then maybe he will send a letter back or a greeting. His phone number and address is on 1881 and Gule Sider. Then you maybe can get contact with him. I talked with him on the phone and he did send a signed card with a greeting to me. This is the help I can get for you. I hope you could get contact with him😀

When I was a kid and doing alpine skiing, I was always trying to copy the way he skies and his movement as he had a very distinctive movement with his hands which my coach told me not to do it coz I don’t know the fundamentals yet.
