I like how on the Castle Super Beast podcast, Woolie and Pat predicted that mainlining the crit path in Elden Ring would leave you completely confused and clueless as to the lore. Then I see NL fighting Maliketh and the words "who the hell is Queen Marika?!" escape his lips. Never change egg, the saga of Thornforge lives on.

“He’s not gonna go angel mode yet.” “He’s going angel mode.” NL has a gift for comedic timing that’s amazing.

the 2-3 weeks after this game came out was simply magical. Game finally made me feel something I hadnt felt in a long time.

@@MrRickeo literally 2 days ago i would agree since the game has no replay value outside of PVP, but if you play on PC I cannot recommend enemy/item randomizers enough. makes the game worth exploring again, and has reignited my love for ER :)

Yes well it would be helpful if the game was a bit clearer in what was good and what was bad. Part of why I prefer Sekiro so much. Theoretically speaking there’s a lot of variance but functionally you get fucked if you do anything you want

Like astel and Godfrey sure they’re fine but elden beast for example is not a skill game it’s “can I avoid getting fucked by projectiles for long enough to beat the game.” It’s still a fine game but there’s better ways of making players get better at the game than not telling them how the game works.

@@lagspike7763 I'd say what's good is not being a complete mong, it's a good first step. He just consistently does stupid shit, says it's wasteful to level up for an hour but fights the same boss for 4 doing _nothing_ different. I mean.... I think you know what you need to do.
