NL seems to neglect that ANYTHING pink can be parried, even the question marks which appear after the goopy buffs up (the thing NL missed), it's a technique he has to use ALOT more

Wow I did not notice that was a parryable thing. Usually it's just bullets and enemies but this game takes it to a whole nother level with the pink rule. Now that I think about it the 0/3 parries is very telling. Hm now i dont know about that dessert castle though. Is that parryable?

It's easy enough to overlook the constellations while focusing on fighting the boss. It starts as a plane so that doesn't seem to be setting up to the astrology signs.

I do find it weird that the boss starts out with a bunch of stars on the screen that make up a constellation. It took me a while to recognize, from my limited astrological experience, the various zodiacs but yeah my first impression on Taurus was an ox and not a sheep.

Looks like this is going to be Dark Souls where NL neglects to parry.

So who want to keep track of NL's shame, using is own shame algorithm ? Because i'm pretty sure he's gonna regret those words by this very episode, or the next.

He's doing pretty well. Maybe you need a larger shame-free allowance of 7 tries in world 2 and 13 in world 3 or something.

Look, for now, he's alrigth, but it is only right for him to be held to the expected level he set himself. Especially since it is somewhat likely that he'll end the series in World 3. Honestly, i won't count myself, because i'm a lazy boy, but i just find funny, that despite everyone saying : "Dude it's really hard", he claims that only two mistakes are allowed. It's even funnier since Austin/Last_Grey_Wolf actually rage-quitted the game, and he is wildly acknowleged as the most mechanically skilled of the bunch of NL's friends.

No doubt. That's why i think NL will probably go further than him. Egg can hit his head against a wall really well. It's just, i think Cuphead will be much harder than most things he has tackled before and thus he will give up. But i also hope that everyone telling him that he'll give up will reverse engineer him into finsihing Cuphead at any cost .

I'm seven seconds in and I can already tell that this 'trying to redeem' bull is actually just him being just as egg as last episode. AND I CANT FUCKIN WAIT

You seem to have some problems with the default controls. I changed shoot to RT and dash to LT and had a great time. Can hold shoot all the time while dodging with jump and dash really easily.

I use jump on B, shoot on A, since that's how it is in classic megaman games. don't have any problem with that. dash should definitely go on a shoulder button though, more than 2 things on face buttons sucks in games like this

I changed shoot to RT after about 15 minutes of playing, so much easier to hold down and still have the control to dash and such with ease

The items that you can parry during the blue slime fight are the pink question marks over his head when he changes forms. As always, Ryan is oblivious 😂😂

That slime boss is actually very intelligently made... I had to re-watch after you mentioned the parrys, and I thought "The only projectile-like things he makes is the question marks... WAIT!" Turns out, yeah. Those are pink. I'm actually liking this game the more I watch it instead of feeling vicariously burned out.
