NORTHERN LIGHTS EXPLOSION in LOFOTEN
We had an absolutely incredible night at Uttakleiv Beach in Lofoten. Here photographed both beautiful seascapes and the auroras. The aurora borealis is also known as the northern lights. This phenomenon is just absolutely incredible and we had an explosion of it! Landscape and nightscape photography comes with a lot of pros and cons. THIS is pro! :D
The noise during the live recordings of the auroras are just wind hitting the microphone of the camera. You can't hear the auroras ;)

Thanks a lot, Ralf! Better late than never 😁
Wow! Just wonderful. What an explosion.! You conveyed the excitement so well. I remember so well the thrill of my first aurora on the Norwegian coast. I have to say that no photo or film has ever adequately captured the thrill of standing under them ---maybe because the "capture" pales in comparison to the actual experience. I believe that your primal scream of excitement is the best we can do,--. just stand and enjoy. My favorite image -- the dragon's eye photo.

Epic! I can't wait to go to Lofoten. Your work is incredible and very inspiring.
That was so awesome, I am actually living the experience through you, thanks sooooooo much for this. It made my day
That’s pretty amazing! My wife and I were driving one night in Massachusetts of all places in the 1970’s when we saw that the sky was all lit up. We found a dark field and watched the Aurora of our lifetimes. At one point a starburst pattern appeared overhead, seemingly focused on us. I don’t know if I was shaking, but it was literally terrifying and awesome at the same time. Sort of like God pointing directly at us.
Awesome work Mads. My bucket list is overflowing. Time to move to the UK and base myself out of there
Phenomenal! Loved all of it, but found the stills to be just spectacular. Well done Mads!
Literally all i can say is WOW!
