At the same time, they also make me smile and laugh!! I can't get enough of them! They are powerful! They are beautiful! They are real! I hope you feel great pride in the incredible resiliency of native people here in North America that your singing and drumming represents! Thank you!!

    I'm ever so happy to know even the Non Native American friends I have love this, I'm enrolled here in Washington State, a part of the Fourteen confederated bands and tribes of the Yakama Nation. FBI you know ( Full Blooded Indian)...Love, Peace, And Fry-bread Grease!! Our spirits may be lifted in a way we can only feel.. sometimes see... in our emotions..

    +lisa mercer The babies of our culture can sleep through this music as it is very similar to their mother's heartbeat. It soothes them to sleep even when the volume is so loud, kids of different cultures also experience this for the same reason. These songs are our medicine.

    ShortCanadianLady my great great grandma was Cree and I inherited her gifts! She died at 104 I wish I met her!!! She loved me before I was I born

    While all instruments are good, and have their place, there's something about the drum and the voice together that connects to the spirit like nothing else. We need hymns written that call for the drum and voice combination, to thank God for His gift of music.
