I am European and I am genuinely fascinated by native American cultures. I am loving the music. I hope I can be in the audience one day!

I’m curious about some of the lyrics I hear in Native American music. I’ve heard several songs with lyrics that sound like they were written in the 1950’s. “Come on girls, give it a whirl, don’t be shy, give it a try”. When were these songs written?

If you heard those lyrics it wasn't Native Music! If you could translate at all you would be native and know what the words were. The easiest way to understand is cover your ears and listen to your heart! It will tell all!

@@williamwhiterock9339 Take a listen to the song Facebook Drama by the group Northern Cree. Those lyrics are plain as day, and it’s certainly Native American music. I’ve heard lots of Native American music with lyrics like this.
