North Texas town in danger of significant water restrictions
The town is currently under Stage 2 restrictions, but could quickly be seeing Stage 4 restrictions implemented soon.
Жүктеу.....

So watering restrictions for citizens but no stop In "new" building permits to say apartment complexes that may house thousands of people and they also have "green areas" that use water too..that usage is just fine?? If cities cant handle what they have now then they cant add more if their is not enough water or electricity..

The problem is the government is giving tax rebates for these companies to come here. Once they are here, they have to live somewhere. I think we have enough now.

How is there a water shortage anywhere in Texas after all the rain we had in spring?

@@oldtimeycabins I agree. It should not be allowed. But you can be fined a lot of money for even brown spots on your lawn. HOA management companies are bullies. I am a renter, but all the homeowners are afraid of them. Last year they threatened me with a fine in August. We had a drought. I had a brown area on my lawn. So I walked the neighborhood and took pictures of all the common areas that had brown spots. I was very nice to them but asked them how they could fine the owner for brown spots when the grass they take care of has brown spots too. They stopped harassing me.

Yet Lake Levon is 3 ft into the flood pool while Ray Hubbard is full. Why not water? Green grass, shrubs, and trees help reduce Urban Island effect. This is an infrastructure issue.

HOA threats do not help. I am in Dallas, but forced to water 3 days a week to keep them happy.

HOAs are unconstitutional. Those thieves need to go to jail. Some of them have..

Time to call the water police, and catch the violators with a tip hotline, and post their names…That always works, and you will be flooded with tips.
