North Texas Garden Tour | Beautiful Zone 8 Garden

🏡Amazing North Texas Garden Tour🌺 - Spring Walkthrough - In this video we walk through a garden in Dallas / Fort Worth that has amazing plants and a growing "fig forest" along with many other fruit trees and plants that can be grown in the North Texas area.
Two Doves started off with a single hügelkultur mound and has added more raised beds over the last three years. The 1/2 acre field of Bermuda grass has transformed it through permaculture principles into a thriving rural homestead that produces loads of fruit, vegetables, eggs, meat, herbs, and more!
The garden is now producing an abundance of fresh food year-round which is preserved by canning and dehydrating. Some of what growing includes blueberries, peaches, figs, tomatoes, beans, cucumbers, peppers, cantaloupe, onions, watermelon, medicinal plants, herbs like basil, and so much more!
Come along and get inspired to grow along with us!

This is a full look at the 1/2 acre garden project we're working on. Blueberries, Figs, Rhubarb (yes - here in Dallas Texas), and so many flowers, vegetables, and fruit that it's sometimes hard to remember and share. If you can help us and give us a like (thumbs up) and a subscription to the channel, it really helps us out. We appreciate you all!!!

Awesome job, guys. Can't wait to see how the kiwi does. Was wondering if they would do well here or not. Might have to swing by for one of those Chicago fig cuttings

@@TwoDovesBees I would love someone to film for me - today filming picking mint at one point I was holing the phone between my knees to film as it doesn't connect to my tripod!!!!

Excited to see how your new rhubarb does! I tried a couple years ago & mine died during summer as well. My sage is blooming too, it's so beautiful 😍 I definitely need to try snapdragons for sure!

We’re pretty sure it’s spearmint… we thought its was going to be peppermint, but it’s not… I want to get different mint plants eventually.
