She's not wrong that the problem would never be that bad in the Fabulous 40s or Land Park, but where she's wrong is that those neighborhoods don't have acres of open land that homeless can camp on (parks don't count because the city is quick about removing the homeless from city parks).

For starters, stop leaving comments when you don’t have all the facts. These homeless in this particular area have indeed been offered living arrangements but have refused more than once. How do I know? Because I’ve seen the outreach groups offering them services while some accepted and others did not. The people who refuse are the ones involved in criminal activity and they can’t partake in those things if they are in a shelter or group home. Why don’t you let them camp out on your porch? Oh yes, they come and sit on our porches, steal our packages, use OUR electricity and water and we are supposed to shut up about it? How dare you and shame on you!!! We deserve to live in a peaceable environment where our kids don’t have to see someone’s behind because they are openly defecating (Public Health issue) or people shooting up with needles in broad daylight. People like you are the problem with society. You see nothing wrong with indecent behavior or community issues as long as they don’t affect you or your family.
