An overnight trip to North Ronaldsay with a stay in one of the lighthouse keepers' cottages. Flight to the island was less than 20 minutes. North Ronaldsay is known for the perimeter dry stane walls which are used to keep the sheep on the shore, where there only food is seaweed. The Bird Observatory is well known for the variety of migrating birds that stop on the island.
