North Port Curotto Can Autocar / E-Z Pack FEL 11-12-10
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
This is the first time I've EVER seen a Curotto Can in person! Very cool to see!
In the City of North Port you'll notice that ALL carts are on ONE side of the road. This is required for collection. They want to maximize the efficiency of automation. Talk about AWESOME ROUTE PLANNING!
This video shows several different Autocar WX aka Xpiditors and ACX chassis trucks with E-Z Pack Hercules front load body's and all have Curotto Can II's for automated collection. These trucks belong to the City of North Port - Department of Public Works - Solid Waste Division.
HUGE THANK YOU to the friendly drivers and crew members serving the City of North Port, Florida.

HAHA! I love the gripper toggling in the cycle at 1:46 to let all the stuff out since it sqeezes pretty hard. First clip the driver certainly didnt waste any time driving between stops to make up for the painfully slow operation (think its time for a new pump) Neat Idea putting them all on one side of the street too.
it's interesting watching the curotto's in action, very quick dump cycle
nice video you got the curotto can with the tarp to avoid the spillage. good stuff the first person on the tube to capture that. excellent job
nice. so on the back it says do not follow too closely what are they talking directly with you and mike? lol
GREAT SERIES GUYS
That's one slow Curotto ! lol
Nice vid!
Nice man!
Great Footage! Always liked seeing the FEL/Curotto Can in action! When I 1st saw this method in person, this probably is the only automation method I respect more cause it has some good advantages that some ASLs don't. But anyway thanks fr posting this & keep up the good work!
That truck has some Grabbing skills hahaha.
@CurottoInc - he is also a very slow operator. any chance of the Curotto Can in Australia?
awesome! my favorite out of the series
I tried watching the video, but it simply won't load. I saw a few seconds worth, though and that's a rather interesting way of being able to use the same truck for multiple purposes. Very nice.
@internationalRLfan Thanks!
@cd8100 There's some around, they aren't common in my area (central Florida)... I think georgewuzheer see's them all the time in south Florida though.
The one side garbage can thing is the same thing on one side
