Afterburn was Agnelli & Nelson's progressive trance side project. This record (this physical record) is very special to me. I finally got to see Agnelli & Nelson play a live set at a massive in San Francisco in 2002. I hung around when the set finished so I could thank them for all the beautiful music they gave the world. Upon doing so, they grabbed this record out of their crate, both signed it, and gave it to me. I will never forget that moment.
This is a long track but worth the journey if you can make it. To me, it evokes images of a long passenger train forging through a frozen tundra landscape. If you need to skip ahead please at least listen to the 3 minute section starting around 03:00 .
No matter how many times I hear it, I always get chills. I hope you enjoy it!

It's a beautiful track, i still have the GC Global Sound System album from 2000, its on that x I also remember this track being used on a tv advert. I think for lloyds bank or scottish widows or something lol. Anyone remember that?

Oh that's so great! Gatecrasher albums were a little hard to find where I was (and expensive as an import lol) but when I could find them, it was well worth the investment! I'd love to see that ad. hit me up if you find it :)

OK, I *definitely* heard someone play this at Luminosity Beach Festival this year! (2024) Anyone have any idea who? I just can't recall who it was!

Wow, looks like an amazing party! I was not there, but if I had to guess, it might have been the producers of this track, Agnelli & Nelson, I see they were in attendance. Happy you got to hear it (and maybe them?) live!
