The Weybourne Traction Group are back once again with their annual and very appealing Mixed Traction Gala for 2024, also dubbed as 'Rails and Ales'.
Owing to missing last years event due to other commitments, I was lineside for all three days, visiting as many locations along the line as possible.

Day 3 consists of shots taken between Kelling Heath and Sheringham.
Highlights include:
1:04 - D7659 making light work of Kelling Heath bank on 2M00 from Sheringham to Holt.
3:29 - With D5631 leading, a nice surprise is brought up at the rear with unscheduled double tailing 'kettles'. No.22 'Austerity' and 1700 'Wissington' give the train a good shove up the bank at Kelling Heath on 2M06 from Sheringham to Holt.
6:01 - D7659 opens up just in time at Golf Course West on 2M10 from Sheringham to Holt.
7:15 - No.22 'Austerity' struggles to find its feet on the bank past Golf Course West on 2M16 from Sheringham to Holt.
9:13 - D6851 whacks the power handle into full just in time at Tradewinds on 2W20 from Sheringham to Weybourne.
10:18 - D6851 and D6732 lead the only double headed class 37 working of the entire three days at Deadmans Cutting on 2C19 from Weybourne to Sheringham.
