@@KatharinaHarer I feel you, what i've learned is that we are not that good at identifying the good people. By that I mean good for us. We are used to hustling, we are naturally built to survive. For this reason we tend to allow people to trash/ use/ step on us or pass us every time when it comes to giving us what we rightfully deserve. We overcompensate, we do too much for others and we always fall short in thinking about and doing for the self. Why? Cause this position is about balancing the spiritual and the material. And what is one spiritual truth we all know, no matter the path we fallow? Love thy neighbour...yup, we do, so much so that there is no more time/space/energy left for our own self...If it happens so that you are a watery ascendant, or have alot of water in the chart, then you definitely make decisions based on emotion/feeling. And which one of the water signs puts themselves first? None. Another "issue" is Ketu...With Ketu in scorpio, somewhere in the subconscious mind, the idea that having money is not spiritual has taken over. We've exercised that idea so much that we don't even realize that it's there anymore..and that it is an unhealthy idea that keeps us in a loop. Survival mode can change really easily just by changing the deeply rooted idea, starting in the conscious mind. You simply reformulate your truth about the relationship between spirit and matter, you write it down, write it in as many details as you need and then keep reading it every day. You can even write it in several places around the house, the office,think about it anytime you want, in purpose. You will soon get used to your new truth and it will slowly inundate your subconscious also. Meanwhile you will proactively build some boundaries in your relationships(no more "it's ok, I will do the washing again this week, someone needs to do that too" even when it's not your turn, even when you have more important things to do for yourself, even when your loved one is playing computer games instead of helping out) and you will learn to identify and only "retain" the people that respect you truly(and your boundaries). And it will hurt at first, having the courage to say "this is not for me anymore" and moving on will hurt like hell. But it's worth it in the long run! What we must understand is that taurus is not just about finances, taurus is also about relationships, it is the first relationship house, right after the self, me, aries. But it is not the kind of relationship we usually think of, the relationship with another, it is the instinctive/primal relationship to the self, what I am, what I have, mine, what I could be/do/have, before going out and searching for a partner(gemini, communication, relating, discovering another) and then building a family(cancer, home). The signs mean many things, this is only one of the levels of perception. My point is that, in order to be able to balance the harsh scorpionic seclusion, one needs to understand that striving is not the key. Scorpio is already the bottom of suffering, there is nothing more there. The key is to lighten up, return to the basics, let things be for a while, no more control, no more doing things cause "you must", but rather doing them when you feel like it, no more "yes, dear" when it's actually "today I need some time for myself, can you go shop for groceries without me?". Little "technical" tip: best people ("partners in crime", friends, relatives, colleagues, or even therapists) for balancing out this position are the ones who have Jupiter in Taurus or Scorpio, or Jupiter in positive aspect to Rahu or Ketu in synastry. Jupiter can bring some peace and balance for this axis, and for Rahu and Ketu in general. Not to mention that Jupiter is just, it can control the nodes(only planet that can do that) and is knowledgeable when it comes to pretty much anything&everything. Strongly venusian people can also be good models. Strong scorpio(multiple planets in scorpio) can help in identifying the issues, but spending too much time around them ultimately hurts, cause it keeps us in the scorpio house by overstimulating Ketu (ketu knows, it represents the expert, the elephant in the room, the one who knows it all, and the one who knows will always try to teach; and inevitably get caught in the past; it's fine as long as it's done consciously, then left behind just as consciously). The presence of healthy and thriving jupiterians and venusians is best. They can bring relief, teach about patience, self love and self respect and can provide knowledge, support in developing the courage to conquer the unknown in the Rahu house. Exalted moon should be good too, if one can take that beautiful energy of an exalted Moon, when they can barely be in the taurus house...Otherwise, it's a beautiful encounter: Rahu learns about it's best version(as a node of the Moon there can be nothing better for Rahu than modeling and trying to become an exalted Moon, self sufficient, happy for no apparent reason) while the Moon enjoys the weirdness and eccentricity of the Rahu person. In synastry, when Rahu and the Moon meet, attraction is instant and hypnotic. But if too young, the Rahu person might not be able to take in and sustain such grace. Anyways, in my experience, a good Venus or Jupiter, own or in synastry, can help most. You might not become rich and peaceful over night, but slowly&surely you will, no doubt about it, heal the scorpionic accumulated pain, consciously shed the useless mechanisms that keep you trapped, grow in a healthy manner, all the while also enjoying the process. very good thoughts. i was missing though reference to how important it is for people with north node in taurus to find lasting and stable partnership. this is opposed to past life experience when the native probably was in a turbulent, hectic relationship certainly full of drama, maybe complete with tragedy. in this life however strongly the native is attracted to this type of relationship they will not find happiness in their excessive desires simply because there is no way for them to fulfil those desires. the only way forward in this life is to realize that these desires are independent of the natives happiness therefore not worth their excessive attention which is a feature in their early life. a mature native will attain self worth (as said in the video) by taking responsibility materially. this is also true in case of partnership: the native will have to find a partner with whom they can build a stable home, be settled down in every way including financially and surround themselves with all the material nurishing.

Urgh! So true, Lada, so true. I have been through so many emotions with money in my life, so many struggles. I have my Rahu north node conjunct Jupiter in Leo in my 2nd house, but Saturn is there too at the end of the 2nd at 27 degrees. I want money but the struggle for it makes me want to give up! At other times in my life I have genuinely thought money was not important. Now I realise it's important, but I feel like I'm having to work far too hard for it and I'm tired and want to sleep! Lol

Strongly feel that building an organisation which is of service to others is the only way to finding my meaning/purpose. phew that is hard to answer: it might be just temporary due to a transit(temporary planetary influence) or it can be a much longer effect which only age and conscious self work can improve. It will usually come from a badly aspected and affected 7th house( other ppl) or Moon with negative aspects because it determines your popularity

dont let astrology turn u off or make u change your mind about sth you really want. if you r feeling this is what you need to do, and an astrologer is telling you u should not, then maybe they r just not reading the chart right. Every astrologer uses different techniques and principles. Only the very intuitive ones are good. I am not sure how photography is indicated, I need to research this.

Now the nodes are moving into my 1st and 7th, and Saturn return (to Scorpio) coming up on my bday (Oct. 5), as well as it moving into my rising sign, which is also Scorpio. Karma, karma everywhere! I am all sorts of messed up. I have Rahu and Venus ruled by Scorpio in the 2nd house. Ketu sits in the house of Scorpio. My sun sign is Capricorn, which is sort of depressing in itself. My Moon sits on the cusp of the twelfth house, which I swear makes me feel isolated from everyone. At least it is conjunct with my Asc of Libra. I am so thankful that at least I have Libra to help me balance and deal with all these dark and moody placements.

wow Great:-) Lada, how is it with the combination of Rahu in Taurus in the11th house and 12th house at the same time (12th house cusp is in Taurus, while at the same time Taurus Rahu is in the end of the11th house). there are no house cusps in the same sign as your Rahu and Ketu, then just count in what sign from your Ascendant they are(in what triangle/square from the Ascendant they are--this will be their house influence) What is your Ascendant. Also listen to the video of Rahu in Capricorn or 10th house

Hiya lada I wonder if you can help me work this out. On your birth chart calculator rahu is in the 1st house in taurus and ketu in the 7th in scorpio. However in the western chart ie cafe astrology birth chart. My rahu is in the 2nd house in taurus and ketu is in the 8th house in scorpio?? On your birthchart calculator it shows that my first house is 22:43 deg in Aries, and my second house is 18:16 deg in Gemini, but Rahu sits in the sign of Taurus and there is no roman numeric there. So which house would it be in? The first or the second?

What are your thoughts on someone having Saturn conjunct the South Node/Ketu in the 8th house. Could that mean that I have a naturally Saturnian nature and that I need to go away from that Saturnian nature in this life? It's even more highlighted at the moment because the North Node has recently been in Scorpio, close to my South Node. Saturn is also in Scorpio where it was when I was born and conjunct my South node also. Should I expect that with all this going on that I should expect things to get easier for me after 2014? HI Lada! What is this about the number( roman number?)? As I use your astrological chart- my ascendant goes to Gemini(mrigasira) instead of sidereal Taurus(rohini) ascendant. And as i look, my sun and rahu sits torgether in aquarius( ninth sign from ascendant) but by the Rahu it sais number 12 and at the sun it sais number 11. Why is this? What does this mean then? Hello lada! your videos have been helping me the last few days! im getting different info regarding the placement of my north node. on your website im seeing Rahu in the third house without roman numerals. but on another site my north node is in 2nd house but right on the cusp being 3rd house(literally almost on the line). should i be looking at the 2 different node placements even if not indicated to do so on the chart on your website? im Leo sun, Sag moon and Sag rising(all fire lol). im new to astrology lol

yes look at both, if Rahu is in the 3rs sign from Ascendant then it will act like like 3rd house position. Also if the 2nd house cusp is there, Rahu will influence also the affairs of the 2nd house.

Lada, my north node is in Taurus in the 11th house. What insights do you have?

Venus in Libra, in the first house.. My Saturn is very near the south node (scorpio) in the 2nd house. My mars is in the third house, but its ruler aries is in the 7th house where the moon is. Or is scorpio the ruler of mars? (Do I study my vedic chart or topical astrology chart?)

I’m having a really hard time with my north node because I really want to make money but my family is so manipulative and wouldn’t allow me to work a good job or go to school for years. I have North Node Libra in the 2nd house next to Chiron in the 2nd house but not conjunct. I’m miserable everyday because I have to rely on my family for money and they control what I do with my life and how I live it. Every time I’ve ever run away from home growing up, got a full time job, or even when I got into school with a 60,000 my family intervened and prevented my success because they are pathologically controlling and are so miserable in their lives that holding me back gives them pleasure. I’m trying to get a job right now that will earn me enough money so that I never have to ask my family for a penny again. Once I get a job that earns me that much, I will never ask my family for money. I might even cut them out depending on what happens. Why is it that my family is so unsupportive of my north node? Isn’t the point of incarnation that your family will no longer support your South Node (I.e. in my case, using other people’s money incorrectly, being impulsive, etc.)?

I don't get it. I have north node 8th house (taurus) and South node 2nd house (scorpio). I believe I have emotional stability, if I am on a spiritual path then i shouldn't really seek too much material position. The sign seems more true than for the house position. All those planets in the third house is hard for me to understand staying in one spot at a time lol. Remember me?

Hi Lada, Great vid! Question: I'm looking at a rasi-chart where Rahu is placed in the 2nd house but the 2nd bava-cusp is in the 3d sign, there's no bava-cusp in the 2nd sign… As you previously kindly explained, the bava-cusps represents the concrete things and the house from the ascendant, in this case the 2nd, signifies the relationship of the individual to that particular house (self worth, finances)…. So here Rahu in the 2nd points to "the relationship" to finances and family that the person needs to develop rather than the actual concrete object, namely "money"? Because indeed this person doesn't have any problems with actual money flow…but has difficulties being accepted by the family... Does this make sense? Thank you!

It seems that I have the same thing when I look at the details on Lada's website. Ra and Ke are placed in triangles between the 2nd and 3rd house/ 8th and 9th house, but not in either of these houses.

same - whats up with that? I think its ti do with Transformational Values (Transformation higher Octave of Scorpio & 2nd House higher Values) - so essentially Values which facillitate Transformation. Saturn Conjunct NN was in 2015 time, what Transformation were you going at that time? (Its most likely to be Sexual by the Way!)

StandardProceduree omg thank you for asking! it made me go look and i realised two things: when saturn conjuncted my north node i went to college (took a course which i hated and i think it was only, so i could meet the people i met and grow) aaand when the transit north node conjucted my north node i lost my virginity..... astrology still gives me the creeps sometimes
