    I think this specific North Korean song is more of a love themed song than a patriotic themed song.

    If you look here at KZread, you get the impression: 1) People of DPRK are normal people and not brainwashed, crazy, will-less and scared, permanently threatened by labor camp and execution, as our media are telling us 2) They are better in many domains, they educate and care for their children very loving and costly, they are intelligent, they accomplish great performance (at their boundary conditions, sanctions, etc.), they care for their culture very well, they are musical and sing very beautiful, they are beautiful and healthy people, they are not fat as many people in the west, there is no unattended underclass as in the west. You can see here many more impressions, which are not compatible to the view, that our media want to tell us.

  • @NorthKoreaUncovered

    @NorthKoreaUncovered

    5 жыл бұрын

    There is no "North Korean Language". It's just Korean. The idea that North Korean and South Korean have become so different to the point of being different languages is some ignorant myth perpetuated by people who don't even speak the language. It's like trying to say American English and British English are different languages; they're not. A South Korean can easily understand a North Korean dialect without any assistance. The only difficulty between the two dialects is that South Korea uses a lot of borrowed words whereas the Northern Dialect does not. Even this however has been blown completely out of proportion to suggest that North Koreans speak a different language.

    I am not sure but it is very likely that this video was created before south korean band s.e.s debuted. The similarities can be seen because in 80s North Korean and South Korean music have tried to make similar music/music videos to those of japanese pop so to some part it evolved in similar way.

    You never know. Everyone who has been there says that with regards to style, everything whether it's hair, clothes, furniture, interior design and television shows, among other things, have this strange 1970s look to them. This was about 10 years ago that some students went over there, but I imagine little has changed. This video could have come from any time, but even if it is newer than S.E.S, the similarities would probably be coincidence.
