During Week 3 of the North Area Fire Academy, firefighter trainees learned about fire behavior and building construction in the classroom before hitting the training ground. During their training drills, they learned more about fire behavior and firefighting as well as how to work with ladders and manage and move the firehose from the engine to the hydrant and through a building.
